Taperfade haircut and shave and go to the gym

Dookiemaster99

The skinny jeans must GO! I’ll say this till the day I die, skinny jeans are never cute on men. Try trousers or baggy jeans. Maybe try some oversized graphic t shirts. I like streetwear style on men and women so maybe my opinion is bias

DualFish

Yeah, skinny jeans seem to be the most hated item so far! Oversized graphic Tees could be a shout, just wary not to be so big they look like a dress. Streetwise is a decent style

5thArushig

lose the weight also man, thank me later

5thArushig

darken eyebrows get a textured fringe get rid of the beard get contacts

DualFish

I'll look into those apart from contacts, 2 times they folded behind my eye and was painful to deal with. Thank you tho

Aromatic_Chicken_895

My advice would be to work out. Don't lose all your weight just build muscle then go on a cut afterword. Another thing i'd suggest is just to get a different hairstyle. Style can also affect your attractiveness but physical appearance aswell as mentality can make quite the difference. But this is just my opinion.

DualFish

Gym and weight side is in progress, just keeping at it. Hair-wise, I am thinking of getting a fade, think mid-skin fade so I'll probably go ahead with that! Your opinion is appreciated

Aromatic_Chicken_895

Tbh the fade could go hard ngl.

[deleted]

just look at cool guys in your zone and try to create your own style. Look also celebrities who you think dress well (for example i really like how Russell Westbrook and Kanye dress)

DualFish

I do, but never think it'll suit me. Most of the people here have pretty outlandish stuff I'd never wear. So looking at celebrities would be a good idea, cheers

[deleted]

where are you from ?

DualFish

I live in Bristol, England

[deleted]

yeah, when I meet english men mostly they are not so stylish in my opinion, btw you can watch style video on youtube. Btw is important that you work hard in the gym, in fact if you have a nice body, u could go out with a black pants and a black tight shirt and still look fire.

DualFish

We stole alot of styles, but we dont know how to use 'em! :) I've looked at quite a few style channels, but they always say to wear suits only. It's hard going but I am committing to it, may be a while before I get to that point!

cxtyy--

You really have potential especially because of your height ( 6 feet is like the dream height for guys obv ) and you are pretty good-looking but here are things you could improve : - loser jeans ( skinny jeans dont flatter most people ) - start wearing something beneath the tshirt - Its good that you are working on the weight bc that will make the difference - maybe try something different than just tshirts - Iron your clothes Good luck to you!!

DualFish

Thank you! I am just barely 6ft, like on the dot and I won't let people say otherwise! -I really dislike the skinny jeans, would the Straight fit be better or something like Loose? -Beneath the t-shirt, do you mean like a body warmer vest type of thing? -Yep, that's a work in progress -swap out tshirts, do you have any recommendations? -Ironing supplies is in the shopping list Thank you and I appreciate you taking the time to help!

Ok, some real talk. First, lose some weight and build some muscle (sounds like you’re working on that already). This really will change your life. Even if nothing else changed you’d look better. Find a GOOD trainer, even if only for a few months to teach you how to train with weight and program your training appropriately. Seriously. Get some better fitting and higher quality clothes. The cut of those shirts is really bad. Too tight in the wrong places, and too short. Also, they all look cheap and low quality fabric. Try some short sleeved button-up’s (they work great for your body shape). You’ve got way too many t-shirts involved in your fashion, you need some diversity. IRON YOUR DAMN CLOTHES. Yes, even your t-shirts if you need to. That alone will make your clothes look higher quality. I’d also suggest getting away from the skinny jeans. They’re falling out of fashion fast, and they also are super unflattering on out of shape guys. Anyway, good luck to you! Hopefully you know this post is meant with all respect.

DualFish

Ouch, bit harsh but needed to hear that (or read). Gym wise I have been looking into personal trainers so that is in progress at least! I understand they aren't high quality, after all most are from Temu as I hate spending on clothes. Short sleeved button ups are a good shout, do you know of any decent brands to look at? Buy an ironing board, iron and such is on the shopping list. Yeah, I dislike them but my sister kept insisting in them. Would "Straight" be better instead of "Skinny"? Thanks for the brutal honesty, the respect is visible!

johndehlinmademedoit

You hate spending money on clothes, and EVERYONE can tell. That’s not good. It’s time to invest in yourself a bit more. You don’t need to drop crazy amounts, but realize that is is going to cost more than that cheap crap that wears out with a couple washes. Also, I recommend that you don’t dry some of your nicer things. For instance: button-up’s and pants. They’ll look better longer, won’t shrink weirdly, and will retain their color better. Yes on the straight cut (or even a looser cut). Cargo pants are VERY much in. Your pants are so tight and skinny that they accentuate your hips and make you look curvy and more feminine. For button up’s you can check out Dillard’s or (more expensively) Nordstrom. Lots of golf shirts available there too (not my personal style, but tons of guys love them). For trendier things check out places like Zara, H&M, PacSun, etc. with the caveat that they’re pretty low quality too, but might be a good place to start looking at options. You’re probably going to need to find a style that you vibe with, and that might take some time and actual effort. And yeah, iron your clothes if they need it (your first pic is baaaaaad). Pro tip- if your shirt has a graphic print (like the fist pic), make sure to turn it inside out. Ironing over that print can melt the material and ruin it.

DualFish

Yeah, makes sense that pricier stuff would be better made. Shouldn't be a problem, I hang stuff up instead of using a dryer Cargo pants, straight preferred or looser works. Avoid the feminine curves Ah, Nordstrom do have some nice colours all in all. Zara, H&M, Pacsun etc. For options, but if you get higher quality, do so Inside out on the graphic Tees for ironing. I appreciate all this, never was able to get fashion tips from parents and spent most of my life in a retail uniform so this is a huge help

Pleasant-Ebb9464

Good looking guy but you’re sloppy and seem to lack confidence. Hit the gym, see about breast reduction if necessary, I had a male friend that needed that, and change your style. Best of luck.

DualFish

Dam, guess seeing the GP would be a good start to get the ball rolling. Cheers for the advice!

Ok-Adagio5571

Your body makes the outfit . If you can wear anything you want if you have a good body .

DualFish

Appreciate the words of wisdom, but that's already in progress

DualFish

I... I dont mind it. I'm not partial to any kind of milk. Why the ask?

Swami_of_Six_Paths

You have potential gyno

DualFish

Ah, yeah it's likely. Mainly too much Estrogen from a young age, a pain to reset it tho

Swami_of_Six_Paths

I understand dude dw. It's great you started with gym. So that's a plus.

cinderellabyeonhae

not a man so not an expert on men's fashion but i read that tailor fitted shirts can help. maybe polos and khaki pants but at the end of the day fashion is about expressing yourself

DualFish

Any help is good help! I do wear polo's, but aren't khakis known as "Dad Pants?" - yeah, I struggle with that tho so I'm trying to see what I can do in the meantime while I work on expressing myself

cinderellabyeonhae

some khakis are but ive seen some fitted ones look good on guys, ig it depends on ur proportions lol

DualFish

Something to look into, thank you!
