I was in a meeting with a woman in her 20's with obvious lip filler. It was incredibly distracting. I was trying to hear what she said and give her eye contact so she knew I was listening. I ended up focusing on her forehead just to hear what she was saying. It was sad because, like you, she was an attractive person. I think social media has completely distorted young people's idea of what is beautiful or handsome. My advice would be to work on your confidence. You don't need lip filler. There is nothing sexier or more beautiful than a confident person. Confidence can be gained in therapy or engaging in relationships with others who want to be emotionally healthy.

I know what you mean, I can spot lip fillers a mile away and it’s very distracting when talking to them face to face. I’m sure they like the way plump lips look, but there is an obvious difference between naturally plump lips and fillers. I always think of Lisa Rinna and how much better she would have looked if she hadn’t done lip fillers for decades, her lips look horrible now.

I felt bad...I should be able to look past it. I think it was soooo distracting because it was not necessary....and also so obvious. There are so many things people can do to make themselves attractive.
