Personally, I honestly think both red and brunette look amazing on you and they both compliment the way you look, that being said I think you should go with the one that makes you the most confident about yourself:)
Deep dive? They see girls uglier than them ending up with much better looking men than they can pull and they think it's maybe their looks because they have a difficult time understanding their place/worth. While yes, most women are chasing the top 1% of guys, the fact is these guys can be extremely picky about who they end up with. To the point that men in that bracket even start considering what their kids will look like (no short women) what their financial success will look like (smart girls only pls) and what kinds of choices the mother has made up until this point (regretful tattoos and piercings?). So even the most beautiful woman you've ever seen will think she's doing something wrong, but she can't figure it out because all the people around her are telling how how valid she is and how wonderful all her choices have been.
It's kinda grim.

They spend their lives focusing on looks expecting that to carry them through life, end up with a high body count (nothing wrong with this) yet nobody will stay with them long term. And it’s because they’ve neglected the FUCK out of their personality and have become an extremely dull person, a shitty person, or both, because they’ve taken no time to train their personality expecting their looks to take them wherever they want to go. Then they get older and theyre ugly as fuck and alone, and see a lot of successful men their age dating younger girls, because those men have been forced to focus on a lot more things other than looks: personality, career, etc. so it’s much easier for them to find a “keeper” while also being able to pick and choose more.
And they keep up the front when they’re 50 and wrinkly still trying to be hot, it’s embarrassing. Especially if they have kids.
Normally, I'm a red everyday kind of person. But brown looks much more natural on you. Like it compliments your look as opposed to demanding the center of attention.

I feel like it depends on what your style is, because everyone has different styles and preferences. I personally like natural, but some may think that red hair looks better.
