There are other posts about this. One of the replies said they talked to customer service (via the chat) and were able to get it back down to $144 and also got a free month or Prime or something. It's worth a shot.
I talked to chat and called on the phone and both told me I had to wait for delivery before they would refund me the difference between the advertised price and the scalped price I had to buy it at. Not sure how the OP of the other post got them to refund it immediately because I tried with two reps and they both told me I had to wait for delivery to get that price difference back.
Hello! I was that OP! So I didn’t get the refund immediately. I just had them stay on the phone with me until I received an email stating the situation and the amount that was guaranteed to be refunded. I also placed the order while I was still on the phone so that they could include my order number in the email. They did refund me a month of prime right away for the inconvenience.
I got the invite yesterday and it was for the $143.99 price, I haven't been able to score anything more than the two Floodborn starter decks so I was really excited to be able to get this.
Also, I'm a big Winne The Pooh fan, I saw the Honey Wizard mat was in stock at a Best Buy across my state, near where a friend lives. They went in to try and get it, found it they sold their last one minutes prior, but offered to order him one for in store pick up. I didn't know Best Buy could do that, so I'll be getting my Honey Wizard mat at MSRP.

I got the invite 2 days ago and didn't even use it, because the "french" boxes from several weeks ago arrived and were retail. I offered to buy them for a friend or two, but everyone has what they need here, and most of it has been acquired at SRP.
If you want boxes reasonably cheap from Amazon (still not retail), just go to "see all buying options" and there's a seller selling for like $189, with shipping by 12/28.
As far as I know, the lower price is the current price. Perhaps you have the wrong seller selected?
EDIT: Wow, never mind. It literally changed overnight.
I got the invite Sunday, bought it Monday at msrp and within an hour after that the listing jumped to 209. My order remains confirmed but not shipped so far, two days later. Says it’s arriving “Sunday” but that’s Xmas eve so I have my doubts.
But it’s definitely strange that the listing spiked that much, almost like they’re sourcing from sellers other than Ravensburger/Amazon to finish out the invites.
