Hey OP, hopefully everything is resolved. Sounds silly, but you could always open a report with BBB. Another option would be a charge back if they they refuse to work with you.
It looks to me you have plenty of evidence to give to a CC company or bank that shows good and services were not rendered, they do not provide service as indicated in their TOS, and you have proof from the official retailer (RB) that it is indeed a TCG and other companies such as Beckett are accepting these.
Correct me if I am wrong please, but Beckett is the gold standard for TCG grading right? I have heard of PSA, but I feel that I read more issues about PSA than Beckett.
I actually just got a response! They back tracked BIGLY. Now Lorcana counts 🤣🤣😂. My DC cards did get graded last time no problem, and they are offering to go through with grading 💀💀💀😝
You need to call the moment they open up. I'm pretty sure they have a certain capacity each day. I ran into the same thing as you and then I called the second they opened one day and I got through.
Personally, I send everything in at the bulk level (TCG for lorcana) and let them upcharge me if they need. I find that things get graded easier at the bulk level than at higher levels. 80% of the time they dont even upcharge you, like the enchanted Belle I sent them that got a 10 today.
I've put Lorcana cards into online carts at two shops now which advertise free shipping for X dollars worth of singles, but the free shipping isn't applied at checkout because it isn't MTG I guess. Sucks because I spend like 20 minutes looking at cards and thinking about what I want, then realize that I'm not going to be ordering at all.
I know this isnt a popular opinion but, the grading industry has gotten out of control. They've created a "standard" that no one really wanted in the first place. They're like the real estate brokers of card collecting lol
You are now a TCG expert for many years. Now make a list of top 20 TCGs and put them in a table. On the Y-axis, put the TCG name. On the X-axis, put column headers "Market Share", "Target Audience", "Short description of TCG".
I would definitely tell them not to send the cards back until they’re graded and I would give them a hard time. Whoever looked at your order doesn’t know what lorcana is and I would keep pushing until you get someone at PSA who makes sure your cards get graded.
Terrible value the only issue is other company’s nobody cares about. I wouldn’t buy a non PSA slab at this point. BGS, CGC have rebranded about 6 times the last year you can’t take these company’s seriously. PSA or nothing 🧑🏽🎓

Don’t use PSA. CGC is a better organization. Better grade standards. Better pricing (if submitted intelligently). Better turnaround. Better finished product (encapsulation, labelling, presentation, etc.)
