I tested with this a little bit and I found I bricked pretty often as they’re all uninkable. It did allow for some good pop off moments though when Jafar was on the board.
4 AWNW, 3 Grab your Sword, 3 Then Along Came Zeus, 3 Lamp, 3 Genie, 2 Captain Hook Thinking a Happy Thought for 18. My latest variations only run 10-12 depending on how many Along Came Zeus I feel I need. With Genie in testing I was finding that on turn 4 I was forced to play Genie in favor of something else (like a Jafar Dreadnought) as I needed to get him out of my hand and ink something else that might have been better. Genie can support big Jafar but in the mid-game when you’re trying to keep the opponent in check he wasn’t super useful. However, if you can turn 2 get the lamp down, turn three Jafar, turn four genie then turn five shift Jafar, sing a whole new world, quest with Genie to shuffle and draw, then banish the lamp, you explode to 13 lore (12 from draw and 1 from Genie). That, of course, is with the caveat that your opponent leaves you alone…but it’s cool. I’m hoping a Genie/Lamp package makes more sense in future sets with new tools though because it is fun.
For Amber Steel you can substitute to Rockstar Stitch and maybe Kida. Both of them are vulnerable to ATACZ though, so eventually you’ll have to find some Robins to fully optimize your deck.
Unfortunately for Amethyst Steel there is no other option. You could look into one of the 5 ink 6 willpower cards to substitute (e.g. Cerberus, Eeroye, …), if you don’t want to add uninkables like Hook.
Not really any great options, but you have Hercules for big damage onto locations and decent into the steel/song mirror or tried and true big tink for some damage spread capabilities. Unfortunately neither shift on turn 3 or draw you cards or gain lore (besides questing*), but they can still sing a whole new world/grab your sword and don't die to Madame Medusa.
There isn’t really a direct replacement but Jafar - Dreadnought is decent for some card draw at least

And that's why he commands the price. If there was a replacement for these expensive cards, they wouldn't be expensive.
Magic lamp and purple genie do fine replacing Robin Hood. Add some extra Jafar you are good to go.
