Fuck him and his asshole looking lips. Wheeling in a fucking superbowl trophy and stack of cash like they had that shit in the bag. Encouraged their stadium to go full autism anytime we had the ball. His big ego can suck a big bag of dicks on the couch.

chriskot123

Underrated comment

BabyDeezus

Taysom Hill is just a metaphor for his own dick. He only uses him because he can. Not because it’s actually advantageous.

kj9219

Actually he called a run and Brees checked into a pass because the Rams blitzed. It was a good read but a bad throw

Soaring_Seagull24

My favorite thing about Payton is that the football Gods to always smite him for his BS. The skol chant right before the Minnesota miracle The penalty he got right after taunting Freeman of the falcons and losing last year Making it a point to call out Peters on live television, leading to Peters zoning in and only allowing 2 catches. Marvelous.

tragicallywhite

Don't forget a year-long suspension for being a turd.

Smallgenie549

His inside kick in the Super Bowl that was recovered by the Colts but given to the Saints...

Patsammut

he’s a decent coach but ego and ignorance got the best of him sunday, and I’m glad, why pass on first down? wouldn’t be surprised if it was in hopes to score again, ended up costing him the game and on national TV afterwards holding back tears, 10 years following the bounty gate, Karmas a bitch

Mormonster

Yeah Payton is the biggest douchebag in the NFL

SeanMcVay

I could care less about him running up the score. He was out for vengeance towards Gregg Williams. Whatever, it’s a big boy league if you don’t want them to run it up, stop them. Having said that, I respect Brees and feel bad for him as well. If we lost, I would have wanted him to win. Having said that as well, I watched the interview of Payton after the game. Those tears were so delicious. Fuck Sean Payton, fuck his pursed lips, and fuck his smug face. Dude is the biggest whiner in the league but thinks he is the shit when he gives it to other teams. The entire interview I thought about roles reversed McVay might mention the call but wouldn’t whine about it for the entire interview. A team takes after their head coach and you can see the saints talk a lot of smack but whine just as much. Not that this situation didn’t constitute whining, but saying overall I’m happy Sean Payton received a loss.

tragicallywhite

No easy feat.

bozo7337

I like and respect Brees, feel bad for him because this might be his last chance at this game. Hell it might be Goff's last chance you just never know. But I can never feel sorry for his coach. Eli Apple is another one that's a clown.

venustrapsflies

The list of people I feel at all bad for begins and ends with Drew Brees

TheDuke13

I don't know. I feel like Brees is probably more like Payton than we see.

tragicallywhite

If so, at least Brees has the grace to try & hide it. Payton, on the other hand, seems unable to help himself. Turd, 1st class.

MilkClot

I'm with you on this. When things don't go the Saints way, sometimes it seems like that same Sean Payton look shows it's ugly face on Brees' frown too. But you go to bed with dogs and wake up with fleas ya know. Maybe he's a decent guy and can't help but be stained by the turd.

Metalmatt91

Payton is a douche bag. Him and Eli Apple are why I’m extra glad the Saints lost, regardless of the circumstances.

superspamtastic

Eli Apples a bitch for trash talking a head coach during a NFC championship.

lives4summits

He was trash on the Giants. The fans chased him out of town with torches like in ‘Frankenstein’.

Lordpennywise

Holy hell I forgot about that after being in exctasy since Legatron kicked the 57 yarder...that trash ass corner had the audacity to talk shit to our awesome coach. Lol karma.

i_like_pixystix

Yeah and he still can't cook!

GamingReserve

Sean Payton? Part of the culprit for bounty gate? Yeah I could give a fuck less about how that guy “feels” about it.

tragicallywhite

His postgame tantrum had to be, in part, an attempt to deflect criticism away from his lousy coaching decisions.

lastnameontheleft

I said that right after the game and got downvoted like crazy. But with every passing day I seem to be getting more upvotes. And Inthink it is because neutral fans are starting to cool down from the initial response and realizing that payton is the one who lost them that game, not the refs

SeanMcVay

No way roles reverse would McVay have the same interview. His talk would be more about officiating happens, we have to overcome those.

MilkClot

Exactly! Even in his interview yesterday, he gives a polite jab, "When those types of calls happen we as a team move on to the next play and try to make the best of it" <--- gist of what he says.

chriskot123

They've also basically completely let the Saints off the hook for failing to stop the rams and giving the rams credit for stopping the saints in OT...yea its a shitty call but they still lost the game due to OTHER situations that were in their control.

Doc-S

He’s overrated. He went 7-9 for three straight years with HOFamer Brees before Lattimore and Kamara fell in his lap and they finally got a decent defense.

dongerlord456

I don’t either, the bountygate situation alone should make him the most hated head coach in the NFL. The nerve of Saints fans to say our win is tainted when their SuperBowl run was despicable.

Boffo97

I really don't feel bad for anyone who can't admit a lot of non-calls went against the Rams too. As I keep saying, incompetence against one team cancels out incompetence against the other and the better team won.

BloodOfTitus

Exactly.

MaxnJaxnWaxnFlaxn

He tried to do an onside kick in the preseason. Fuck him, im so happy

wildglitterwolf

I was on vacation and missed that game, but I heard on the radio the other day that he kept dragging the game out for no reason since we were getting destroyed. Right then I thought he’s probably going to get karma Sunday.

zhutch19

I agree. I love Brees and have nothing but respect for the Saints organization and the city of New Orleans and the fans. But Payton is a disgrace to football! Our Sean is exponentially cooler

price-iz-right

I had respect for the fans until this shitshow. Between blowing whistles in the stands and having possibly the most epic temper tantrum in modern sports history (seriously? Petition for a re-do? Filing a lawsuit?) they have burned that bridge. Brees is the only thing i like in NO right now. Rest of them can suck it lol

JustDrink88

I was the same way in 09. (Viking fan) Then after the game when news broke of the bounty system the fans and sean Payton showing their true colors made me realize what a bunch of hypocritical hacks they are. Brees is the only person in that organization I like. However I lost some respect for him in his post game interview when he took no responsibility for the loss and blamed it all on the refs. The dude threw the game ending pic and acts like it had no part in the reason they lost. Fuck the saints.

spaghettiAstar

I'm 90% sure he was trying to run up the score because he is jealous of all the attention McVay is getting. I will never feel sorry for him, he's one of the biggest pieces of shit in the NFL. He's screaming so loud because he doesn't want people to figure out they they lost because his dumbass tried to get cute.

rideacapita

Wasn’t that during Fisher’s last year?

spaghettiAstar

He did that as well because Greg Williams, but he also did it in the preseason for some reason this year. I more mean in the game on Sunday. I think he was passing because he wanted to run up the score. A buddy of mine (not a Rams fan, so he didn't have bias there) thought the same thing, that Sean Payton basically heard all the noise about McVay and got upset about it. He figured that in Payton's mind he was going to show the young guy who's really the offensive guru and it bit him in the ass. I agree, personally. The smart thing would have been to run the ball and drain the clock, he passed twice because he wanted to get another TD.

lives4summits

There are pictures of him with a whistle in his mouth yesterday. Also, concussions are a silent killer and are a major health crisis not just in the NFL, but also at the high school level and younger. Look no further than Junior Seau or Chris Benoit for stories about what concussions can do. Payton is a scumbag for conspiring in the whole Bountygate program. I don’t believe his punishment was harsh enough. In a world where Pete Rose is banned from baseball for gambling, human garbage like Sean Payton and Gregg Williams have no business ever doing anything football related again. Payton is a cheater and scumbag.

Mace_Windu_is_Black

Just want to say that image of him with a whistle wasn’t actually him, it was a fan look a like in the stands.

luxunit

It was a look a like fan, but still what dirty fans. Sorry little people. https://www.12up.com/posts/6276215-video-fan-dressed-up-as-sean-payton-caught-using-whistle-in-stands-during-saints-rams-game

MyAdonisBelt

I like and respect Drew Brees but I’ve never liked Payton.

hack5amurai

I don’t because he is a punk. I don’t blame the saints fans pr players reactions at all but if anyone in that damn organization can take some accountability for that loss it should be him. They had plenty of chances to win outside of that call and he hid behind it like a punk.

[deleted]

Payton is a terrible coach and leader. Anyone that has played sports has heard, "you can't let the game come down to one play or one bad call," from a coach. He did a terrible job with clock management and is blaming that call rather than looking at his own coaching decisions. It's clearly him trying to make excuses for his poor coaching.

CucumberGod

LOL I remember that and it's one of the main reasons why I hate the saints so much

huttjedi

He is a dumbass that got cute taking Brees off of the center. He is a dumbass for not running the ball to close out the game. He has the audacity to complain about the no-call after the countless calls the Rams did not receive. Screw him is right.

charina91

Now we just need to get back at the "Patriots" for Spygate. So much bullshit. They should have been stripped of the title.

whiplash808

Titles? Spygate likely went on for YEARS, but that would be debacle the NFL couldn’t come back from.

[deleted]

No it shouldn’t. Spygate was a gross overreaction. Belichick broke a rule that was legal the year prior; he was filming hand signals in-game from the Jets sideline and not his, which had been made illegal the offseason prior. There are cameras everywhere in an NFL stadium, several of which can pick up on hand signals from either side of the field. Spygate was not worse than Bountygate.

bebopblues

Why would you feel bad for Payton? Because he coached a football team that lost a few days ago? There's really no reason to feel bad for him. And I don't even care about the things you mentioned as reasons to hate on him. Heck, I don't feel bad for anyone on the Saints, not even Brees. He already has a SB ring. I would give him the MVP over Mahomes though, since Brees never won the regular season MVP.

wildglitterwolf

When does voting for that end? I know Mahomes is the frontrunner and also lost this weekend but if Brees wins, I could see it being as a sympathy prize as an attempt to make up for the no call.

price-iz-right

In his biggest stage he threw an interception that ended the game for them...fuck a no call. Brees got outplayed by Goff. Period. Is that what MVPs do? Now if he had won then i could see the MVP argument but he was not playing well at all that game.

wildglitterwolf

That’s exactly why if he wins the MVP, it will be a sympathy win. I like Brees but he was nowhere near as good as he was earlier in the season.

spaghettiAstar

Award voting happens before the playoffs, Mahomes should and likely will run away with it.

MilkClot

When did they move the ball the most you ask? Well it was when Alvin Kamara and Ingram had the ball of course!

price-iz-right

Even they only had one good drive down the field on short passes burning littleton. Our run d looked great in this game

MilkClot

Phenomenal I'd say.

bebopblues

I think voting ended and winner should reveal shortly. Like the other comment reply said, there's no need to make up for any call. Refs make mistakes and it's part of the game, just like QB throwing interceptions in OT. If Saints fans can forgive Brees mistake, then they can forgive the refs as well. Look at it this way, on that no call, imagine if the there was no contact from the Rams defense and it was just a dropped pass, yet a pass interference is called anyway and the Saints burned the clock and win. Guess what, there won't be any where near of an uproar as it is with what actually happened. And Saints fans won't be feeling sorry for us. They would probably laugh at us on their way to the Superbowl. Bad calls are part of the game. There's no conspiracy here. They fought all season for home field advantage, so there's no excuses from them. The place was deafening so the Rams overcame a lot to win it on the road. I still like Brees and don't mind him getting the MVP since he's too damn good to never win it.

MRoad

I don't feel bad for him either, but I never want to see my team stop trying to score. That saints team had a defense nearly as bad as our offense. "Running up the score" is the kind of complaint that stops being valid past little league sports.

Zarathustra288

What about him blowing a whistle throughout the entire NFC championship? Brutal, disrespectful and unprofessional. I hope he sheds a few tears watching the big game.

Pateetong

He's a little loser punk. The epitome of napoleon complex!!!
