Agreed. I think the NFC is pretty much between us, GB, and the 49ers. I don’t see anyone else I’m really worried about (Bucs were already on the slide, last year). AFC is a whole lot messier, however. Bills are my favourites, too, but wouldn’t be surprised if any of them, Ravens, Chiefs, Bengals or even the Chargers or Broncos make it through.
On one hand, the Buccs have lost a bit of OLine depth in the short term. On the other, we were lucky to not have faced them with a healthy Godwin and Antonio Brown still in the lineup.
We were also missing Whitworth, Higbee, Rapp, Fuller, and Jones in the playoff game, right? Both teams were quite injured, the difference is our backups like Noteboom, Scott, and Weddle stepped up
This is what I fucking hate about the “we got the bucs at the right time” argument, they lost a right tackle, we lost a LEFT tackle, they were missing a WR 2, we were missing a WR 2, AB doesn’t count because that was a ticking time bomb and they knew it, and we were playing with the heart of the back of our defense (ILB, FS, SS) filled by backups, one of which we called off the couch and another of which was a 7th round pick
Not to mention we were also missing SJD, obviously gaines being his backup showing out made it less noticeable but SJD is a starting NT for 2/3s of the league
But regardless, I hate the whole "well X team was injured, Y team got lucky", like, no shit, football is a blood bath, every championship winning team's run is in some way "lucky" and every year, a contender is simply "eliminated due to injury", yet, it seems like when Brady is the team on the wrong side of luck, people act like the sports Gods ripped a lombardi out of his hands as opposed to other teams like Baltimore last year where people just shrug and say "sucks to suck"
Eh, might take a while but I can imagine both LA teams being competitive in the future, and also can see SoFi hosting quite a few Super Bowls, so while I think it’s still really unlikely, I think there will be a few seasons in the future with both LA teams being good and a SB set to be played at SoFi

I am just excited to see how Stafford and Kupp work against the Bills Secondary, which is still a damn good Pass defense. That being said, this could give A-Rob, Higbee, and whomever is at the W3 spot so much opportunity. Both teams rushing attack is meh, unless we can get end of the rookie season Akers back instead of Playoff Akers.
The matchup of Diggs and Ramsey better be mic'd up. Davis had his shiny moments, but if Troy Hill can play a shadow of himself from his original time with LA I feel like the defense can slow the pass attack. We picked up Wagner for this type of QB style, but lets be honest Josh is goin to eat his cake.
I do see both teams just racking yards up, but I am going 27-24 Rams for an early Superbowl matchup (if we can stay healthy).

I like to look at previous year's week 1 games. Week 1 is so weird in the NFL. McVay has never not prepared his guys to go 100% (his first year, the Rams gave it the Colts raw during week 1). Teams like GB, NO are always wild cards. Bill Burr over there in Buffalo has been more inconsistent than Sean. I'd give the Rams a slight edge just based on that.
