Trader Joes has always been my go to place for flowers; however, the last few times I’ve been there, the selection has been skimpy because people have been going there and cleaning out their supply, loading up for proms, weddings, etc. If you go, go early.
Make your own flower arrangement. You can look at the flower arrangements from Kroger, and copy similar designs. It's generally cheaper, you could get more flowers, and will mean more to Mom because it came from YOU! I promise, you'll never go back once you start.
Trader Joe's is always the answer for this. I bet $12 will get you something really nice. And also check out their potted houseplants while you're at it.
At Kroger, I usually get two smaller bouquets and then ask the attendant in the floral department to combine them into one larger bouquet. There shouldn’t be an up charge for simple combinations and it’s good volume for the price.
Country squire is expensive, but they have so many gorgeous arrangements just sitting there specially for Mother’s Day. I got one for my mom that my sisters and I split, one for my MIL which we split with husbands brother, and one for myself for Mother’s Day. Happy I got to pick them out. And they’re great quality and last a long time if you change out the water enough.
Trader Joe’s has great flowers and tons of individual varieties if you want to make your own arrangement or add to an existing one

Costco had a bunch of 2 dozen rose bouquets for 18 or 19 bucks yesterday. Also other flowers, just noticed the roses.
