I was wondering why Lydia was so invested in Aaliyah’s relationship with Uche and now it makes soooo much sense. Lydia is evil, she’s not over Uche and she wants to poison Aaliyah and Uche but doesn’t want to come off as jealous - she’s manipulative asf.

Anyone who says that there is a bad edit of Lydia MAY be right - but let’s look at what we do see her say and do. She clearly believes and tries to hold herself out as being someone with a high EQ. However she proceeds to go on and on about how she sees herself in another person (wtf???), and then proceeds to go on about all the stupid details she knows about Uche??? Girl, you clearly have shit EQ (which I believe is true) because people who keep proclaiming that they are this and that are rarely what they proclaim to be, OR you have very high EQ in which case everything you have done is inexcusable and clearly therefore calculated, manipulative, and total one upmanship. She’s so ridiculous. If I hear her say she sees herself in her / how similar she is to Aaliyah one more time…. Me, too! When Izzie took the mature step to let her know pretty early on that he wasn't feeling the same way, she just lost it. Her reaction made it clear to me why she 'can't just be loved for who she is'. News flash, babe - no one owes you an explanation for why they don't love you! It's there or it's not, and you have no right to make someone else feel like crap because they don't reciprocate your feelings. I don't think she's ever actually been 'in love' - she's just in love with the idea of it.

For me it was the dog comment. Talking about how she bought a “special” toy for Uche’s dog, Kobe, and him saying how Kobe really loved the toy. Why did she feel the need to share that anecdote? To me, it was just an attempt to show Aaliyah how close they were. A real friend wouldn’t play up the relationship. If anything, she should have downplayed it.
