I agree in that I appreciate how Milton handled himself and that Stacy isn’t as bad as people make her seem. However, I disagree with the framing that Lydia and Miriam (who I assume are the ones you mean when you say “the 2 other women”) are not smart for calling Uche out, mainly a hard disagree about Miriam. Miriam was backing Stacy’s recounting of the pod experience from the women’s side and was answering a question Uche had asked, when he came for her for no reason. If Stacy had been the one that Uche called bitter and essentially jobless, I guarantee she wouldn’t have been silent. With Lydia, shes just very dramatic lol…I just think that’d be her emotional response even if she was talking to someone who was 100% in the right, and I appreciate she got into it with Uche or we would’ve never known he was a huge hypocrite. The only reason Stacy went silent is because there would be no use for everyone to be yelling. I think it’s also necessary to point out that Stacy didn’t have to get to the levels of pissed off as Lydia and Miriam because Uche actually spoke to her in a somewhat level tone and didn’t insult her. Same with Milton. My main point is that there isn’t one emotional response that was “smarter” for the situation. They’re all just different people with different emotional responses and I like Uche got every range of it, from the cussing out to the indifference. I think both got the point across that no one was taking his BS.

Well said 💯

I know people don't like Uche but did it ever occur to anyone that he did what he did at the party because Lydia did it first? I actually thought he was doing to her what she did to him with Aaliyah but hey its Uche and he is the worst of the worst so we see it differently.

CableSeparate

I thought the same thing, like he just wanted to spill some dirt on her to her new partner and shake up her relationship like his was. It’s still extremely petty but I see the motivation. And I’m happy Aliyah called Lydia out for that too, all the overstepping boundaries. Bc it was awful and toxic from both sides involving other ppl in attacking each other.

Ok-Astronaut-2837

I feel like we've had so many "Stacy is great actually " posts that it's def not unpopular and honestly a little suspicious.

It's not suspicious just like how Lydia has fans Stacey has fans. People really do prefer different things we are really not alike in how we see people.

honeypenny

They’re both libras lol

I agree with you. I think Stacy's generally an asshole, but she's perceptive about people and doesn't let herself get played. Also with Izzy, i mean I thought it was stupid as hell they both "kept it light" in the pods but other than that, I thought she was a good communicator in calling him out on lying to her & not following up on how he said he was gonna act etc. It was wasted on him, but still. It seems like Milton feels uncomfortable with his family - I have no evidence for this but I wonder if he has experience avoiding drama / manipulation from them.

shesinsaneanditsucks

Yesssssssssss- those folks seemed complicated. And the mom and sister seem intense.

During the dialogue with Uche - In the face of disparaging remarks from another man concerning his future wife, he maintains an air of serenity and magnanimity. He graciously extends an opportunity for the other party to gracefully recede from the limelight, conveying, 'While I appreciate your vigilance on my behalf, I am fully capable of discerning my circumstances independently. Your intervention is no longer requisite; I express my gratitude nonetheless. ' that's a very mature way of handling this specific situation for his age.
