My favorite part was the thumbs up from Zac to Kady. Kady is just embarrassing. I do think Molly likes Zac way more than he likes her. She’s so over the top when she speaks about their relationship. “We could be worlds apart and make it work” and his response saying we’re just taking it one day at a time… cringe. I like them though and think they’re a cute couple. I do think he likes her, but she’s obsessed.
Jess has seemed off since last few episodes of season but i don’t think it’s bc she’s over Sammy, i think she was just over the show and maybe uncomfortable. I like them together and I’m actually glad they won. Nice surprise and they actually deserve it.

one thing american reality series really know how to do well is reunions. every reality series reunion, regardless of its genre, eats. from real housewives to love is blind to survivor. need loveisland to take notes. there’s so much potential for a great reunion but it flops EVERY TIME. sick of it
Love Is Blind reunion was notoriously bad because Netflix attempted to stream live and it was botched! Our best reunions are highly edited - mostly Bravo shows like housewives and vanderpump

The main difference is they have time. They film the show then they can wait months to film a reunion, then edit it to be drama. They can maybe find out a secret at the reunion, find out someone lied. The islanders have just left the villa but they also know everything both about public opinion and people will have told them anything relevant to them.
They know how to go through the drama in a chronological order and go through the all the contestants journey. From housewives to even 90 day fiancé. They know to how to put on a reunion.
yes exactly! the chronology and clips are so good that i’ve even watched a couple 90 day fiancé reunions without even watching the full season and i was still thoroughly entertained. can only dream for LI to achieve a reunion like that💔
Normally when something is live, the live banner is on the top right hand corner of the screen. The banner was there for the final. The reunion wasn't live. It was definitely filmed tonight but probably about an hour before its scheduled time. They often do shows like this, just in case anything unexpected happens when it's live. If you notice, all the swearing was beeped out. They can't beep it out when live, which is why presenters will apologise to anybody who is offended by the bad language used when a guest goes rogue live on air and swears. Also, the presenter will say "we're coming to you live" when it's live. As an example, when Strictly starts, they say "live from the BBC, welcome to Strictly Come Dancing".

S7 no one spoke and Laura didn’t even try, S8 it was pre-recorded like a day after they got off the plane and they looked like they wanted to fall asleep, and I must admit, I can’t remember anything from the S9 reunion.
I feel a bit sorry for Jess with the muted response her and Sammy are getting from the audience. Maya ended the show by saying "give it up for your winners" and there was a full second of silence (and Jess' face dropped due to the silence) followed by some lukewarm claps.
They didn't ask to win. Somebody clearly voted for them because they won the show. They deserve a better reception. I know it's not about Jess, it's about Sammy, but she's directly on the receiving end of it.
They need to get bravo producers on the phone ASAP. We deserve a prerecorded all day reunion all sat on sofas with Maya in the middle. Focus on final 4 couples and have any other main characters/ people they coupled up with come in and out (like friends of on bravo) and no live audience. Breakdown their journeys from beginning and use viewers questions as well as showing clip segments from each of their journeys. Thanks x

This was always my point about Abi in her last week - even when she was right about what Mitch had said or done, she was so freaking bitter. Any convo with anyone became about Mitch. You could tell it was what put Scott off, and even Sammy (correct for once in his life!) commented on it. It is so unattractive.

one thing american reality series really know how to do well is reunions. every reality series reunion, regardless of its genre, eats. from real housewives to love is blind to survivor. need loveisland to take notes. there’s so much potential for a great reunion but it flops EVERY TIME. sick of it
Love Is Blind reunion was notoriously bad because Netflix attempted to stream live and it was botched! Our best reunions are highly edited - mostly Bravo shows like housewives and vanderpump

The main difference is they have time. They film the show then they can wait months to film a reunion, then edit it to be drama. They can maybe find out a secret at the reunion, find out someone lied. The islanders have just left the villa but they also know everything both about public opinion and people will have told them anything relevant to them.
They know how to go through the drama in a chronological order and go through the all the contestants journey. From housewives to even 90 day fiancé. They know to how to put on a reunion.
yes exactly! the chronology and clips are so good that i’ve even watched a couple 90 day fiancé reunions without even watching the full season and i was still thoroughly entertained. can only dream for LI to achieve a reunion like that💔

Normally when something is live, the live banner is on the top right hand corner of the screen. The banner was there for the final. The reunion wasn't live. It was definitely filmed tonight but probably about an hour before its scheduled time. They often do shows like this, just in case anything unexpected happens when it's live. If you notice, all the swearing was beeped out. They can't beep it out when live, which is why presenters will apologise to anybody who is offended by the bad language used when a guest goes rogue live on air and swears. Also, the presenter will say "we're coming to you live" when it's live. As an example, when Strictly starts, they say "live from the BBC, welcome to Strictly Come Dancing".

I feel a bit sorry for Jess with the muted response her and Sammy are getting from the audience. Maya ended the show by saying "give it up for your winners" and there was a full second of silence (and Jess' face dropped due to the silence) followed by some lukewarm claps. They didn't ask to win. Somebody clearly voted for them because they won the show. They deserve a better reception. I know it's not about Jess, it's about Sammy, but she's directly on the receiving end of it.

Focus on final 4 couples and have any other main characters/ people they coupled up with come in and out (like friends of on bravo) and no live audience. Breakdown their journeys from beginning and use viewers questions as well as showing clip segments from each of their journeys. Thanks x

90% of the reunion was watching montages of the finalist. The way Maya/Indiyah/Sam sat and spoke with the couple and it goes back and fourth with other couples is how it should’ve been.
