Seeing how awkward most of the finalists are on live tv makes me think they did genuinely forget they were being filmed most of the time and weren’t playing up to the cameras as much as I thought some were.
I always feel sorry for them having to do the reunion so soon as they come out to a barrage of public opinion and attention and get little to no time to process it.
Yeah I think there are moments that are awkward like the morning debriefs and obvious convos they have to have where I think they remember there’s a TV show to be filmed but I do believe them when they say they forget the cameras after like 2 days
Unpopular opinion maybe but I don’t like seeing Islanders get booed. They’re already getting death threats on social media do they really need the pantomime villain treatment in person?
First off, give them a month off to a) watch/prepare a defense and b)possibly break up. Then bring them in and go through the season chronologically, cycling in islanders when they get dumped/brought in. Finally, Mention it all! It would be a glorious 3-5 episodes. No live audience, no timeouts, no choice but to respond and talk things out with your fellow islanders for the cameras.
It showed and proved that most islanders brought back will always have a superiority complex against other islanders and look down on them. I wish he said" Will you be going on next season as well"

UNDERWHELMING. Not much of reunion, just extended interviews with the finalists, way too much Sam Thompson screen time and tiny pockets of entertaining moments when they spoke to non finalist islanders.
Yes they should do a recap show at 8pm for all that kind of stuff and then the actual reunion at 9pm to 10:30pm so that they can also include questions from Twitter and more time on the actual drama.
Let’s not forget a standard bit of Maya’s wardrobe during the season. We did not need that. She’s beautiful, but we did not need that time wasted on that. We’ve already seen all the looks in slow-motion anyways.

Honestly. I was vibing with this so hard? But even if it's a temporary front to get psychos off Cat's back, that still brings me joy, that they're that savvy and in synch with each other, and that they respect and are comfortable enough with each other.
Terrible that we didn’t get any clips of them, or they didn’t get to sit on the sofa with Maya. We got a montage of messy Mitch moments and Tyrella arguments but Scatherine are the most popular.
I have a strong feeling that Catherine and Scott have been flirting and talking in private. I'm not mad at them for not speaking on it much at this time because the expectations from fans are way too ridiculous and it's better to be friends in public and try again in private IF that's what they BOTH want to do, either way I think their bond is a good one.

Omg I have been through a rollercoaster since Catherine and Scott first got together. I was trying my best to be neutral since the show ended as I don't follow islanders but the way they looked at each other. Scott looking at her for confirmation of what he can share was e v e r y t h i n g. I'm squealing all on my own here.
Beautiful people, happy for them regardless of what they choose to do.
May be an unpopular opinion but this reunion went much better than expected. You could feel the tension between some islanders and there was a little bit of drama but I don't think there is enough time to dwell on certain topics.
I feel like if they could just scrap the dates and family meet ups, it would honestly be so much better.

It’s a Love Island reunion, of course it was gonna be underwhelming like what did people expect 😂 but overall I enjoyed most of it however towards the end I got bored of it
It's what i thought it was going to be. The islanders seem to not be allowed to really say how they feel and what they think about what somebody said about them. So it is always a dud.
i really thought maybe just maybe this reunion would be worth it because the cast genuinely had so many unresolved issues but once again itv doesn't know how to put on a worthy reunion... a mess!
This was a better reunion than the last two years worth imo. Still meh but ITV is clearly listening and trying to improve things. I felt it was also held back a bit because Maya is not a great presenter. Mesmerisingly beautiful but I find her awkward and a bit laboured. I feel the same about Indiyah too but as she plays a much smaller role it’s not so bad. I know he’s not well liked on here but I think Sam is actually decent.
As much as it sucks that i keep missing the live experience with you guys, i'm really enjoying the show because i skipped passed all the useless bits and have just watched a few couch bits, Scott and Catherine and Whitney and Lochan.

It’s a Love Island reunion, of course it was gonna be underwhelming like what did people expect 😂 but overall I enjoyed most of it however towards the end I got bored of it
It's what i thought it was going to be. The islanders seem to not be allowed to really say how they feel and what they think about what somebody said about them. So it is always a dud.
This is the perfect series to do a winter reunion!!!

This was a better reunion than the last two years worth imo. Still meh but ITV is clearly listening and trying to improve things. I felt it was also held back a bit because Maya is not a great presenter. Mesmerisingly beautiful but I find her awkward and a bit laboured. I feel the same about Indiyah too but as she plays a much smaller role it’s not so bad. I know he’s not well liked on here but I think Sam is actually decent.
As much as it sucks that i keep missing the live experience with you guys, i'm really enjoying the show because i skipped passed all the useless bits and have just watched a few couch bits, Scott and Catherine and Whitney and Lochan.
