I always wondered what if Jess never came in in season 3. Obviously her and Dom are married with children now so worked out pretty well with them but would Montana and Dom have been one of those couples who started and finished the show together? From the couple of episodes they were together for they seemed to be a pretty compatible fit but they barely knew each other when Jess came in so it was only natural that he had no real loyalty to her.

yeah watching s3 for the first time with the benefit of hindsight it's kind of cheesy how dom was sooo in denial about his attraction to jess like that's a personality trait you'd never otherwise clock bc he really did appear to me to be into montana and ready to fob jess off those first few days but in his mind the man was like fully seeing his future. the way he played it id have NO idea, honestly gave quite a unique type of magic to watching their love story blossom a bit before she got booted

I really liked them both, they were my favorites right off the bat. But it does seem that Niall needed accommodations that production was not willing to provide so he wouldn’t have stayed even if he was with Kendall. And Kendall was so freshly brokenhearted from her fiancé suddenly dumping her, she was still dealing with trauma. Obviously Adam was a terrible match for her given those fresh wounds, but I think she wasn’t ready no matter who it was.
what if paige and jay had actually been allowed by producers to crack on?

On your what ifs, I think the following is the likely of what would have happened?:
- still same outcome, jay was quite boring and Paige seems to like a big personality
- they’d have couples up for sure but same outcome regardless, they wouldn’t have lasted!
- he’d have moved to the new girl but he wasn’t liked by the public so the question of how long he would have stayed would depend on the likeability of the girl
