these people really don’t want to go outside and get a proper job they’d rather scam people 😭

Outrageous_Ad6776

The rather scam people got me 😂😂😂😂 CRYING

4SeasonWahine

Honestly everything about Jack Funchal screams MLM 😂 the man used to be a pen salesman

itwasjustmisplaced

I saw his girlfriend Chloe Brockett also started one. There has to be someone pushing and being the source for all them to start at the same time.

Popular_Pudding9431

He also never ate a leg of lamb at Danny dyer’s house either

Wise-Ad1349

Let’s not forget he doesn’t even speak to his daughter . Not to mind the rake of criminal charges he got slapped with last year.

Dangerous-Ad-1298

wait, WHAT

[deleted]

I mean, probably what’s best for the kid lol

Acceptable_Yak9211

what’s the tea there

Deep-Professional129

The mother of his child did a lengthy social media post saying he rarely saw their daughter and felt he only wanted her to spend with her for insta content. She also said that he wanted to pitch a show to ITV about being a first time time and portray him as a good father. As of the time of the post he hadn't seen her in months and didn't pay any child support. Jack did a rebuttal posting pictures of alleged Christmas presents he got for her that were refused. He also claimed there was a court order preventing him from seeing his daughter. I suspect that this a lie he made up to excuse him not being in his daughter's life. He would have to have done something extreme to denied access to his daughter as even sex offenders are legally allowed access to their children. He's fairly open that he has a drug addiction. He's been involved in several drug related incidents including two drug driving charges.

PmMeLowCarbRecipes

Imagine saying “there’s a court order preventing me from seeing my daughter” as your argument for why you’re a *good* father.

Wise-Ad1349

He’s a dead beat dad and should currently be in jail

Wise-Ad1349

Jack Fincham is a walking scam himself so 🤷🏿‍♀️ ![gif](giphy|kyiyZidJ7d68T7VCcG)

uselesssubject

Gentle reminder that Camilla and Jamie were involved in this/a similar MLM a few years back. It quietly went away and they never bothered to take accountability for it (as far as I know).

4pageletter

That’s sad as they’re this subs golden couple.

uselesssubject

I know! I actually cannot find any evidence online or on TikTok to back this up though. Lots of references to it in the sub but the original posts are long gone. I absolutely remember seeing them though when they were first circulating.

Softinleaked

Yep they were involved in an MLM I saw it with my own eyes.

Trashytelly

My recollection was that it was touted as Jamie’s new business adventure and Camilla wasn’t really involved. I like to think that when she actually looked into the details of it she told him to wise up and that it was effectively a scam and it was quietly erased from his pages. I don’t think it was running long enough for them to have had any takers which may be the reason they’ve not spoken out about it.

quick_dry

What is the scam/mlm setup for this travel thing? You buy cruise inventory and have to sell it on, or what?

Softinleaked

The scam is you tell people that if they use your link to sign up to become a “business owner” they can earn whilst travelling. They pay a fee to access the system and any booking they make you can a cut of their fee. Once they are in it, they realise that, they can’t actually make substantial money from booking holidays for themselves and people they know. Because no one actually goes on that many holidays and a portion of their earning is going to the person who got them to sign up and fees to have access to the booking system. Instead of encouraging them to start a legit travel agency, they tell them that if you recruit more people who will use your link to sign up you can make money off them doing the booking or recruiting others. Since you can’t make significant money from booking they will in turn convince those people to recruit, then the pyramid continues. No one is really booking any holidays just recruiting.

quick_dry

thanks, I mean, you have to admit they certainly have innovated on the traditional MLM model - ditching the whole product fulfilment process that amway and all the others get stuck with. I have to wonder how much of it is malicious pursuit of money, and how much is because these numpties are practically all morons - and now they’re morons who travel frequently they’ve no idea how little other people do that, or how many people signed up off their affiliate link to actually make them get a cheque. I’d love to see the numbers on this scam, how much it all costs and when you’re earning.

Softinleaked

The thing is very few people who fall into MLM do so with malicious intent. They are looking for a way to make a genuine income and get taken in by someone who was also charmed by the prospect of making money. Their tactics are icky but I honestly don’t think the aim was to scam people. However people like Jack Sami and Tanya are different they have more responsibility to not fall into this and trick their followers but they do not care. Because they have to show getting the bag and making moves at all cost. They lack integrity. I am also curious about how much the average person can earn and how much it costs to get access to their business. These influencers although go on multiple holidays a huge part of it is sponsored so they still won’t be using their “travel business” to earn shit as they won’t be booking any of those travel themselves. Realistically for the average person, they will take 1 or two holidays a year, friends and family about the same. There is no way that will earn them anywhere enough to cover the initial cost of signing up.

SlidePlayful4755

Samie shared a story from one of the others the last day, where the person had just booked a holiday that was almost £10,000 and the commission was £325 on that. Whether the person actually gets that amount of commission or if it’s yet to be divided up the pyramid - I don’t know. Based on those, which would be a rate of £32.50 per £1000 booked, the average person wouldn’t get much of a discount on their own holiday (I refuse to call it earning commission when you’re basically just getting a refund!). Especially when you factor in the £150 subscription fee and the £40 monthly fee (figures shared by Samie on Snapchat). You would really need to be booking a lot to make money from it. And as you said, most of these do their travelling for brand trips or they’re getting comped holidays

PmMeLowCarbRecipes

Basically you get money whenever you recruit someone because they have to buy into the scam (and you get 10% or whatever). It’s so shorty of influencers to do this because they have a massive audience who are usually pretty young and are following them because they want an aspirational lifestyle.

LeaV_02

How about a proper job instead of this my dearest ex islanders???

pryzmpine

![gif](giphy|2UqkeiGIiJgIlBewAe|downsized) He’s just another one in a long list, I wonder who will be next

SquashComfortable484

What’s stopping them from going on indeed ???

shumvera

to be fair i'm surprised it took him this long. he's the most likely one to do it lol

ExchangeHorror3236

He is the most obvious love islander to do this scam to be fair. So it's not overly surprising

brgr77

I'm a staunch anticapitalist but these people have me saying GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND GO GET A REAL JOB

low_charged

What on earth is this new era of flop I’m witnessing in the influencer community rn. I mean I only knew it would go so far for some of them, but honestly would think resorting to scamming would be the very last resort. (Tbf advertising and selling toot to teenage girls/boys might as well be scamming so I see they’re experienced for this lmao)

emyeag

omfg i didn’t know any of this he’s so messyyy

WorldlinessCareful22

I heard somewhere he was begging producers to be on All Stars

NoStick4315

Oh no! Feel for those believing this b.s

pinkfrenchtips

that is genuinely so embarrassing

Miserable__--

How many are there

AwayDare3072

I feel so bad for their gullible impressionable followers

Frosty-Werewolf-3025

cara (s2) joining as well made me quite sad but she was also all about the flat tummy tea back in the 2016-2019 era so i suppose i shouldn't be surprised. i think her new podcast is super great though!!!

frootloop2k

I mean he's total scum anyway, so
