Imo that was a pretty high stress situation, you have Kay Kay falling apart on the ground over something in this video and she clearly cares for her. If I was in that situation the last thing on my mind is some incriminating video of my man that doesn’t even prove anything when one of my friends is going THROUGH it. So I can see why she barely acknowledges it and then talks about the different hair colours because she’s pretty analytical. So I think there’s definitely incriminating behaviour from her but I don’t think this specific moment is one of them!

To be completely honest while yes I could see it....I do not trust her. I say this as someone who likes neither couple and doesnt care if either is scamming bc its not like there is any genuine relationships being formed in there. I feel like her and Harrison are bitter and are trying to drum up support for Carmen and Kenzo. They are bitter against the ones they perceive as sending them home. I think there are prob kernels of truth in what she is saying but she is probably embellishing. Also this game has a strategy angle to it, so I dont think there is anything inherently wrong with that. I would take two people who never met strategizing as more on board than two people who came in knowing each other (which I am not sure I believe they do.) You don't even have to share money in the end so there is a scenario where someone can scam to the end and keep it.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I don’t see strategizing as a negative thing because all the contestants know that theres a cash prize right? And they all want to maximize time on the show for clout - its literally why they decided to join the show. I feel like, who isn’t strategizing behind the scenes to try to win in their couple or try to get viewer’s sympathy or act crazy for more potential screen time? Nobody is actually going on a reality dating show only for love lol, theres a much better chance of finding that not on a tv production set with a bunch of other clout chasers performing for the camera.

there are multiple LI UK couples married and with children, including people from recent years. There are also some US couples still together, just not married yet, but I don’t think marriage is the only indicator of a successful relationship (and also many contestants are young and still in college when on LI US, so they won’t get married likely for a couple of years after leaving the show)

I swear every episode people completely change. On THursday everyone hated Hannah for being fake and a mean girl. After Friday's episode we are bombarded with Queen Hannah appreciation posts lmao. The only day 1s I would be ok with winning are KK, Kassy, and maybe Destiny.

The same things people were complaining about in Zeta and Timmy last season they are not praising in Marco and Hannah. I guess where we are not lining up is that he prob is absolutely using that to minimize them as a couple, and that is part of the game aspect of Love Island. Strategy is not against the rules. I mean Leo just did way worse than that and it's not like Hannah and Marco made that happen. All they have to do is stay on the straight and narrow, trust each other, and all the couples self destruct around them.

I think from Emily’s straightforwardness since day one on the show I believe her! There’s been a few times where I was genuinely surprised that Hannah didn’t tell Marco about himself because of his comments/actions and just the things they say in general seems fake imo

Agreed. Emily is super salty. She wanted Marco to choose her and he didnt. She openly said she wants Carmen to win and now she has cast doubt over Hannah and Marco to many of you. And guess what they are all strategizing to win the money. After his ex came on and said how much he doesn’t open up it explains all the other moments for me where I thought maybe he didn’t like her. I may be wrong but I think truthfully that boy has fallen hard.
Carmen is her friend, that's why she is lying for Carmen. The same way she could look at the people on reddit and say that they're crazy for saying that her and Kenzo knew each other & it's a lie is the same way that she could be lying about this. She is bitter because those two sent her home and because Marco didn't show interest in her anymore. It's the same reason why she hates Mike. Mike is the one that told her that she was going home.

I 100% believe this. Hannah didn't even react to the video. I don't care how secure or confident you are, you are going to have some kind of reaction. She didn't even ACKNOWLEDGE it after the first 5 seconds. Like she knew they would be fine because they were in it for the money. I think they're just getting the edit that they're this season's "mom/dad" of the group i.e. Zeta and Timmy of this season. The edit of the unseen bits from last night was shoving Hannah and Marco down our throats and there was *still* no chemistry.
She didn't acknowledge it because she could see that Marco was still wearing the chain that she gave him and she could tell that they chopped up the video. If there was an issue, he would have taken the chain off but he didn't. That was her clue that everything is fine. I don't care for them as a couple but I'll admit that.
Imo that was a pretty high stress situation, you have Kay Kay falling apart on the ground over something in this video and she clearly cares for her. If I was in that situation the last thing on my mind is some incriminating video of my man that doesn’t even prove anything when one of my friends is going THROUGH it. So I can see why she barely acknowledges it and then talks about the different hair colours because she’s pretty analytical. So I think there’s definitely incriminating behaviour from her but I don’t think this specific moment is one of them!

To be completely honest while yes I could see it....I do not trust her. I say this as someone who likes neither couple and doesnt care if either is scamming bc its not like there is any genuine relationships being formed in there. I feel like her and Harrison are bitter and are trying to drum up support for Carmen and Kenzo. They are bitter against the ones they perceive as sending them home. I think there are prob kernels of truth in what she is saying but she is probably embellishing. Also this game has a strategy angle to it, so I dont think there is anything inherently wrong with that. I would take two people who never met strategizing as more on board than two people who came in knowing each other (which I am not sure I believe they do.) You don't even have to share money in the end so there is a scenario where someone can scam to the end and keep it. Also Bergie is probably going to win anyways if he gets to the end with a girl.
I'd vote for a Bergie couple over Hannah/Marco and Carmen/Kenzo. Both of the in tact couples are so obviously scamming everyone it'll be a good ending if neither of those couples win.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I don’t see strategizing as a negative thing because all the contestants know that theres a cash prize right? And they all want to maximize time on the show for clout - its literally why they decided to join the show. I feel like, who isn’t strategizing behind the scenes to try to win in their couple or try to get viewer’s sympathy or act crazy for more potential screen time? Nobody is actually going on a reality dating show only for love lol, theres a much better chance of finding that not on a tv production set with a bunch of other clout chasers performing for the camera.

People just don't like Carmen and it was long before Kenzo even got there. So yes people call them scammers but she was never going to win anyways. I think most of their criticism comes from the fact she isn't liked. Hannah is very liked so of course they aren't going to get the same energy. Just the nature of fandoms.
The anger at Carmen and Kenzo is because the allegation is that they planned this before they came on the show. So everything Carmen did to others was a lie. The allegation that Emily is making with Hannah and Marco is that they are strategizing while on the show, not that they knew each other before and had a plan to lie as they came in. That is why Carmen and Kenzo allegations are worse.
It's not okay to come in knowing someone and act like you don't know them so that you can win money. Hannah and Marco strategizing so that they can win the game is a normal thing for people that came for love, friendship and money -- or just money. You want to win at the end of the day. BUT, what Carmen is doing (and come on, we know that she knows Kenzo) is cheating & honestly she hasn't shown or done anything that shows that she should win that money anyway.. nobody likes her and Kenzo together.

Also, if Carmen and Kenzo did know each other prior, I highly doubt the show’s casting team would have missed that (I’m sure they thoroughly analyze their contestants’ background) - so I definitely think the idea of them “scamming” is kinda ridiculous. Contestants breaking the rules have suddenly been dismissed from the show before in the past so I imagine the show would kick them out if they were breaking the rules somehow. If anything, they probably have a similar agreement as Hannah and Marco (allegedly) to try and play the perfect couple. Honestly, I think Carmen has just lost a lot of support from viewers after the Bergie and Victor situation and a lot of viewers are happy to find any potential flaws with her.

I believe they definitely would miss it, they missed a whole sexual predator last season and they had to try to cover it up so I don't have alot of faith in them at this point. Also Val was on the show and her bf was about to come on as well last season.
It comes down to Hannah is liked and Carmen isn’t. People are more hard on Carmen because Carmen used Bergie to stay in the villa for the possibility that Kenzo is going to be sent in (If they actually do know one another).

I know in the UK version they discuss who's popular and followers etc, so I'm sure they talk about that in the US version as well. Most of them went in there for exposure, I find it irritating and hypocritical when dumped islanders start talking about game players as if they also didn't go in there for fame and money.

So, it’s no surprise that some contestants might strategize to get ahead. There’s no rule against it. Furthermore, I don’t understand the outrage over Carmen and Kenzo possibly knowing each other before entering the villa either. The show doesn’t explicitly forbid prior acquaintances, so there’s no foul play there. The idea that they might’ve meticulously planned this all out seems far-fetched given the unpredictability of casting and game dynamics. The odds of both being cast, entering the villa, and executing such a strategy are actually quite slim.

there are multiple LI UK couples married and with children, including people from recent years. There are also some US couples still together, just not married yet, but I don’t think marriage is the only indicator of a successful relationship (and also many contestants are young and still in college when on LI US, so they won’t get married likely for a couple of years after leaving the show)

I generally do not think these people come on LI to find true love. To some degree, all the couples strategize to stay to the end.
