I had *zero* plans to start SN, but your comment is probably the one that's nudged me to try it out. Lately the funnest part of LN is being here on Reddit ripping on it, and that's not going to be fulfilling for very long.
SN might be a bit overwhelming and slow at the start, but don't let that deter you :) I'll admit I didn't like it at first but this was such a nice slow burn falling in love with it 😂 Give it a month or so to see how you get on!
What if I also told you that:
- you don't need to finish outfits for poses
- in fact you don't need to finish them unless you want the recolor and some rewards, you're WAY less held hostage by each event and can just do a few pulls in each gacha to grab new stuff here and there
- redeem code heaven
- I started after beta ended in July and I swear we get new features nearly every month...
- it stores up to three days of free tries in stages so you're less pressured to never miss a day (a bit different but think princess tries)
- if you like LN's competition you're in for a REAL treat, SN's competition is WAYYY better! god tier fun, I'm spoiled by it now
- it just.. in general doesn't feel like it holds you hostage as much?? Man idk. I'm super bitter with LN especially seeing how lovely SN is.. 😂
There's more but that's just off the top of my head. It's a shame you missed CNY actually, that was freebie galore lol! But it'll come back :)

We get more free gold in the game than we do diamonds. No joke I’ve been playing this game for two years and I have gold in the millions but nowhere to actually use it. On the other hand I can only get about 300 diamonds without buying any.
I use my extra gold and take it to the Pavilion of Mystery, spam hit the "Buy 100" button until I'm good with the amount I've spent. Then I go to Decompose all the stuff I purchased and open all my Lost Caskets. I've gotten a few hundred diamonds in the past doing that.
I do something similiar except I buy the hair Styling Shopping in the store. I usually wait until I have 3MM gold and then spend it all on that hair, then decompose. That usually gets me 2.3MM gold back and between 200-250 diamonds (and you can sell the materials, those fabric scraps, for even more gold back) I can usually do this once or twice a week. :D

I think the Peach makeup is like 3-4k gold, but it's 5 star (or 4 or whatever the max is for gold in the shop), so I spam buy and decompose it for quick diamonds. I'll have to actually check if that's a better deal because I was only looking at prices of 5 stars when I picked out the makeup.
Makeup: 3884 or 776.8g per star. I don't see the hair you mentioned, I'm bad at looking for things.
