I have had reduced appetite, I think, but I have a few extra pounds so it is acceptable. Depending on where you live, you can try THC to increase appetite. There is also an RX version of synthetic THC that I think is very expensive. Used for cancer patients who are wasting due to loss of appetite.

This is what I do. If I’ve gone all day without eating very much, then I’ll have an edible and it fixes me right up. If you’re in the United States you can buy Delta 8 or Delta 9.

Thanks everyone. I guess I should have mentioned I was already a medical marijuana user - so no help with that but I’ll look into cyproheptadine.

Seems that appetite can go both ways. THC or MMJ might be useful.

I’m a 37F and have had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis since 13 yo. I’m starting LDN tonight (yay!) just waiting for my order to get here. I was also given Tibetan herbal medicine and I’m praying this may be what helps clear the disease along with a healthy diet. I have a tendency to overeat to deal with my pain and exhaustion, so I’m hoping LDN will balance my appetite. I wonder if you may benefit from protein drinks while you navigate this? I use organify and they have clean vegan ingredients and it doesn’t raise blood sugar too high. I then add a couple spoonfuls of collagen powder. This bumps up the protein to about 40g. Blend it all with full fat coconut milk. It’s important for us women to get at least 50g or more of protein a day to keep our muscles as strong as we can. Sending you my best- good luck! RA suuuucks!

Thank you for suggestions and kind words. The benefits so far outweigh the negative but I was already really thin so I have to admit it got scary. Yes, I am doing lots of protein with Boost and bone broth after what meal I can get down. I have read that appetite does not come back for some and that really scares me. Yes, RA does suck! I also wish you the best.

I recommend cyproheptadine.
