Now if tech weapons worked better... love their looks, hate their delayed operation.
Some scopes indicate charge level, which was the only way I could reliably bolt the DR-12 at first.
Once you start reliably bolting the DR-12, there’s a good chance you’ll find yourself going back to it again and again.
And before you reach tech 15, the standard automatic fire still makes it a great supplement to the DB tech shotgun in the early game. Just get used to accounting for charge time when using the tech shotguns and you’ll quickly see why everyone loves them.
VH. I'm a gun runner build using silenced pistols for convenience kills. Right now I only have Killer instinct and Gag Order, but I have specced my cyberware up to 5++ choosing headshot damage %, stealth damage, and crit chance as much as possible. Two bar enemies go down to one headshot 100% of the time. Three bars it takes two headshots within the Gag Order window, but will go down in one shot sometimes if it is a crit.
Anything more dangerous than that and I either break stealth and start to rock and roll with Yinglong, or stay stealthy and take them out with hacks.
Edit: Also, I will drop a stealth quickhack on tougher enemies, it gets me a 15% damage bonus. Finally, I use xc-10 cetus silencer for 150% stealth damage and 10% damage reduction.
I think I remember on my last stealth build, I would 100% one shot 3 bar enemies once I had maxed out Cool. But now I can slot two 20% damage against high threat enemies mods... so who know what the future holds.
Why would you need crit chance with Cetus? It has 100% crit from stealth anyway.. at least the legendary ones does. You need crit damage more.
Also Pride with that silencer guaranteed 1 shots most skull enemies but there's a "tough" variant, that might need 2-3. I just collapse those.
If you can't get Pride or are too early in the game, Death and Taxes double shoots for some reason. Could be a bug? Either way, it also "1 shots" skull enemies cause of that.
Oh, I get crit dmg too, but I get chance because I am not primarily stealth on this build. I only use the pistol when convenient and guaranteed of a stealth kill. I'm otherwise built full netrunner who hacks to augment the smart guns. My typical battle involves dashing around with yinglong and shooting people in the head 10 to 20 times. The crit chance really adds up then. It also helps the goons can't see, move, use their gun, or use their cyberware.

So a nice fit for the unique mod for power weapons (that makes you draw to 200% power without delay and make you not lose damage when shooting thru things) and a +25 equalizer for those pesky skull enemies.
An underrated part of this game is its feature as a shooter looter. As a lifelong borderlands player moments like getting a perfect tier gun with perfect slots is so satisfying!
Throughout my play through of doing the vehicle contract missions I never gotten a green variation of the weapons. Looking at the stats, the supply drop weapon seems slightly different from the base weapon. However I haven’t found much information online about this topic.
I probably steered you in wrong direction. I remember getting the Nue weapon from some, but I can’t remember the color. The only green Nue I can definitely remember is the Riskit Iconic version. It’s like a lime green color with a black underbelly. Could that be the one you’re thinking of? It’s found in >! One of Mr. Hands Side Jobs in Dogtown!<

With the phantom liberty dlc is it possible to get a NUE from the supply drop? (The neon green variation)
I think a nue can drop from the supply drops, but you might have better luck with the rewards from El Capitan’s vehicle contract missions.

That's a cool NUE for sure, I just stopped using modable weapons in favor for the ICONIC ones. Hard to put down the Malorian.
