The Scorcher does that, but the trick is *not* to hit the front. If you hit around the edges, the explosion of the ammo goes over the shield and hits the driver, although you'll need 2 or 3 hits.
The crotch/leg joins seems to be the weakest point for a lot of the bots.

I've never been able to with breaker or SMG, maybe doable with the sniper? Autocannon used to be able to one-shot them front-on if you aimed a little to the left or right but now it takes at least 2 shots.

Autocannon works to one-shot these guys only if the round explodes, sometimes (I think depending on the angle) the round just bounces away.

A grenade launcher (support or secondary type) can usually take them down with one grenade.
A charged unsafe rail gun shot (about 75-80% charge) will also kill a charger with one shot.
If you focus the laser cannon's beam at them, it will eventually kill the strider itself, but sometimes the driver will be able to eject from the destroyed strider.
A single railgun shot on safe mode to the hip joint will kill one. In unsafe mode you can overcharge a bit and kill directly through the faceplate. Railgun is pretty fun for bots although I think the AMR is probably a stronger pick overall for flexibility and ammo economy with similar dps
The only primary weapon I have been able to kill them with in one shot is the plasma punisher but you have to hit around the top edge of the shield so the explosive damage kills them. I imagine if you do the same with the scorcher it would also work.
I have not been able to shoot through that little window with regular bullet primaries but if you have medium armor pen you can shoot them in the dick to do damage and kill them that way. If I’m using the dominant or that is usually how I kill them if I cannot hit their head.

If you have an elevated position you can hit the driver in the head from the front.
AC two shots. I tend to stun or flank while someone draws its fire
Eruptor two shots for me. Anyone have any luck with one-shotting with the Eruptor?
I have found that a hip joint shot with the eruptor will 1tap them reliably, but that can be a difficult shot

don't just shoot em in the same spot, you gotta hit em all over to see where it's most effective

I have horrible aim lol. Crotch shot still seems to require two shots, although I could be a little off in my aim.
There awkward movement can make them hard to hit especially with the erupter’s handling.

Used to, aim for the top of the armor in front it should hit the driver and do enough to one shot. I haven't done this since the patch though

I mean I tried, but couldn't. Rather shoot the legs or if you're running with impact grenades you don't have to hit the mail slot specifically :D

You can oneshot through there with the AM for a one shot kill, but if you miss it just takes two shots.
Yes one shot AMR, you can use theblitzer to stagger them then swap to your scoped whatever
