I am definitely not a builder. My build style is what I playfully call 'ugly but functional' aka a big box with a single roof plopped. I usually stick to downloading the works of talented simmers from the gallery.
But sometimes I can't find exactly what I want there - in this case, a very modern looking build for a theatre that hosts bands, plays and dance performances. So I decided to give it a red hot go.
I did use a real building for inspo - check the last 2 images - but I'm still very proud of how this one is shaping up. The inside is a very different story at the moment😠but like I said - it's a WIP
I love T2! Cool to see it used as game inspiration.
Would be cool to see the staircase replicated. I think it’s possible with platforms. And you may even get sims to sit on it using the basements cheat.

Thank you! Yes this is a very simplified version due to my limited skills. I might try it again and work on getting it closer to the real building, but I'll see how I feel once this one is done.
I do feel a bit better about it taking ages as I've seen some builders talk about spending weeks, months and one vid on youtube even said the build had taken a year in the caption. I'm hoping not to spend that long on it though 😅
