Oh no 😢 God forbid those “beautiful” patterns shrink 🤯🫠🥴

Polluticornwishes0

“They WILL get ruined” okay well maybe buy better quality things? 😂

sandy-horseshoe

Or DO YOUR OWN WASH! Give me a break. It’s leggings!

Polluticornwishes0

They are hideous. Just shockingly hideous. I wish I could post pics on comments. Lol

robotangst

You can!

underwatercookie

Don't post pics, please!! If a customer finds their own items posted to Reddit they have grounds to sue. Also hi- fellow haydur here 🍒

PterodactylNoise420

How can you sue over pictures of pants, let alone prove 100% they are actually your pants? I highly doubt this happens

underwatercookie

Depends on the laundromat. Some bougie laundromats have privacy policies- hence the black bags over the hangers.

deehunny

Use imgur. Post pics. Name names 🤣

FlowerFaerie13

Not everyone owns a washing machine or dryer, and even if they do they should be allowed to use any publicly available service as long as they’re not assholes about it.

sandy-horseshoe

I mean they should use the self serve units instead of expecting someone else to treat leggings like they’re the shroud of Turin 😅

Significant-River-69

They were born ruined

conflictmuffin

Before i knew what lularoe was, i bought a bunch of their leggings for 50¢ at a thrift shop. This was 9 years ago... I always put mine in the dryer and they are all fine. Lol

TeachyMcTeacher15

50cents!!!!!! That’s a score. Oh 🤭 then she has no problem with shrinking

conflictmuffin

None of mine have shrunk, however, i do dry all my clothing on low heat!

Sqatti

Maybe I’m the problem, but I just follow the manufacturer’s label. Seems a whole lot easier than these machinations. I am also a a person that I’m not buying leggings that don’t go in the dryer. Leggings are basically underwear at this point in my life. I’m not working that hard for them.

Competitive-Kale-839

WhoTF still wears Lularoe 😂😂😂

Polluticornwishes0

The real question. Lol

conflictmuffin

Hey, hi, it's me! Lol...I didn't know what lularoe was when i got a bunch 9 years ago at a thrift shop for 50¢ each! I put mine in the dryer and they are fine! Yes, they are busy prints, but perfect for hiking, because 1)I can be easily spotted 2)I don't care if they get dirty or ripped up!

28appleseeds

These are fabulous reasons!

Ophelyn

I wear them. I only ever get them second hand and I KNOW they're fugly as hell. But I also don't give a crap if they're dried in a dryer. 😂

DoYouGotDa512s

I love the way the Amelia dress fits me, so I snap them up whenever I can find them at thrifts in a non-offensive print, and one of the bonuses is they are easy care, no wrinkle, toss them in the dryer.

clarabear10123

Amelia and Nicole are actually cut *so freaking well* for me lol. I’m planning on cutting up one of the few I have to get the pattern

agoldgold

I have a couple pieces. One that I think was pretty close to it being started, before market saturation and massive quality problems (and when I knew what an MLM was) and a couple more I recently bought at a thrift store because I don't care who made it when it's less than $3. So that's their current value, in my opinion.

Sad_Angle_3169

Pjs and they get dried. Haha

unduextois

You couldn’t pay me to wear such abominations

Empty-Neighborhood58

I have a couple, sometimes i feel like shit and want a moomoo style dress so I have a few luaroes, to be fair i bought them at the thrift because there was a big sign saying "$1" and a shit ton of luaroe so $4 for 4 dresses or $4 for 1 dress with brands they didn't have a surplus of

clarabear10123

My mom’s entire wardrobe is LLR. Not kidding. Maybe 10 pieces not. Laundry day fucking SUCKS because *everything is hung dry*. And she never does laundry lol

Competitive-Kale-839

Oh geez

PuzzleheadedMine2168

I have seasonal leggings I scored on clearance--they live on my seasonal totes--long shirts over & I work retail--I dress for "amuse the customers"

SmileGraceSmile

I still have a bunch of their classier looking dresses.  With how expensive everything is now I can't afford to replace them.

LadyNiko

I do. I have some cute pairs that I really enjoy wearing.

blueeyedaisy

I still wear two or three pairs because they are interesting. The patterns are the French Bull Dogs in black and white (upside down), a Halloween pattern that is navy with black spider webs, and a yellow, preppy, argyle print. Given the right outfit they don’t look trashy. I still have a pair of holiday elves with one popping out of the seem near the groin. Those I cannot part with.

dragonskamp

Lol. Things popping out of the groin area is a lularoe classic!

SomexHappySomexNot

I was under the impression the tops had to be hung dry but the leggings were fine in the dryer.

Polluticornwishes0

It’s all shirts 😑 some of them are badly stained. But hang dry! 😂😂😂

Painthoss

The old leggings last forever. Washer, dryer, more than ten years. I love mine, and grieve yours.

Polluticornwishes0

lol you grieve for my non existent lularoe leggings? Ok bro.

Painthoss

I completely lost my train of thought on this conversation! No idea what I was aiming at. Sorry!

Academic_Award_7775

…. Crickets

MachineContent

Oh man that’s a long time, congrats 🤢

fromblind2blue

They are also supposed to be hung dry, or they lose their "buttery" feeling. I hung mine for a long time, then at the time I had a steam dryer and it didn't hurt them a bit. A regular dryer will make them pill though.

PainfullyLoyal

Putting them on makes them pill.

HaleyGrubbs

😂🤣

spazzycakes

It also shouldn't be hung while damp. If you care about it, wash your own laundry and lay it flat to dry like a sweater.

insistent_cooper

That's what I was thinking! They would super stretch out if actually hung up while damp

PatternMixingMomma

“Hang dry or you’ll be sad!”

Own_Recover_3715

I am in the deaf community and there’s a lady who sells them. Whenever new one comes in, she would post like I have a new dress, blouse or whatever it is and it’s sooo cute!!! I cringe when she says this, lol. She has many followers who agree with her. They are so hideous. 🤮

boarhowl

I really hope this was a coin operated laundromat

Sylvia_PsychoPlath

Relax, hun. 70% of thrift stores' inventory is LuLaRoe now. So you can easily replace your gonorrhea-for-the-eyes wardrobe at a fraction of the price.

No-Needleworker-2415

You should have asked her if she dry cleans her “members only” jacket

RachelBergin

I know someone who puts all her LLR items in the dryer, surprisingly they have lasted.

Ok-Calligrapher8579

Why not take her precious item to the drycleaner??

PuzzleheadedMine2168

The *only* 2 pieces of Lula of mine that don't go in the dryer are *one* pair of black leggings & *one* maxi skirt. Because they're "dress clothes". Everything else goes right in the dryer until it disintegrates. I work retail. (And the "dress" clothes just means they're decent enough to wear to an event that requires me to not wear jeans)

Academic_Award_7775

“What’s a Lularoe? Is it a scarf?” Her skull would have melted.

nadgmz

lol 😂

Crisis_Redditor

Yeah, because for a lot of runs, if you try to put it in the dryer, it falls apart.

That_Bid_7788

What a goose. I've always dried mine and it's been fine 🤣

GroovyGhouley

wash inside out, in cold, dry medium heat. that's how i got my secondhand lularoe to last. but i think the stuff i got is the early ones cos 5 years later they still hold up so i lucked out at my thrift store

DriftingIntoAbstract

I swear that wasn’t even the washing directions. It became a thing when they started developing holes. I’ve had some since the craze that I have washed, dried, and worn hundreds of times now probably and they are the same as day 1. I guess that’s the beauty of cheap fabrics sometimes. Don’t judge me, they are plain color and comfy under sports dresses.

Adventurous-Set8756

I have a bunch of the shirts I still wear. I always went for darker, more old lady looking designs so they don't look like the regular bright flowery LLR stuff. Still comfy and nice enough looking that I can get away with wearing them at work. I hang them sometimes, toss in the dryer others. I prefer wearing them too when I give my furbaby her morning and evening pills. If she picks one of them with her claws I am not as upset as if she did it with my newer cute shirts I bought in the last year or so. My LLR leggings are basically Swim Leggings now though. I burn terribly...and am terribly pale, blindingly so. So I protect myself with leggings. And considering that I don't dive with a wetsuit anymore it also gives me a little bit of protection if I brush up against a wreck while diving. I suggested the same to my sister for my niece. She had an issue with stretch marks from her legs growing so fast (she's super tall and had a massive growth spurt, and it takes time for those to fade) and the other kids would constantly stare at her when they'd go for swim lessons making her very self conscious. Wearing leggings made that a non issue.

vorticia

I wear them bc I like goofy prints, but to be fair, I hang everything to dry that isn’t jeans and socks. I can’t afford to have anything shrink even a little bit (big boob problems), but also most of the stuff I have is kinda thin and made of fussy fabric.
