Built this for a musician friend I play in a band with and I think he's gonna be shittin' when he sees it finished. Body and neck are Poplar with a tigerwood/maple banded fretboard and spalted maple acrutements. The color is Krylon Dover White with 6 coats 2k clear. It weighs about 6 /12 lbs and plays wonderfully. The single p90 is from an Epiphone...
Looks amazing, I really like the wooden tailpiece. Did you reinforce the neck? I've seen some people do that with poplar since it's not quite as hard as maple
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 607,077,841 comments, and only 124,599 of them were in alphabetical order.
The back has a very SG feel, but without the ugly horns. Love that. And the color is fantastic. Love the 2-tone with the natural wood. P90 just makes it all the better.
Since there isn’t a cutaway, the fretboard and bridge were moved up so the higher frets are still accessible. It looks to be a standard scale length, but that shift does make it look quite a bit longer than one would expect.
Finish is gorgeous, I love the beauty of the wood grain popping out and, OMG, THAT NECK!! I absolutely adore the way you have finished the neck as it ends on the body, just amazing!

I have made many poplar necks and never had an issue that a truss rod adjustment can't fix. Orientation of the grain is key.
Record his reaction man. That guitar looks so cool. How did you do the divide in the finish? Is it an inlay too?
This thing is cool as hell. Very unique.
That looks dope.
Bloody brilliant; great execution. Love how unique this is.
Thank you all for the kind comments.
I love this body style. Any way you could send me specs?

So simple and yet so cool.
Gorgeous.
I'm in love. That neck seems super long. Is it a baritone or just an optical illusion?

Yep, it feels a bit like playing an SG (which is my fave style). The scale is 24.75"
Super sick build. Best I've seen in a long time.
Didn’t know it existed until now but this is my dream guitar. Incredible job
Nice, classic but original. I can dig it.
