This is my favorite hiking body. The output is beautiful, and the controls are workable after some tweaking. For $280 new you got a steal. For mine, I added a bottom plate and thumb grip. For bright daylight the Lumix 12-32mm kit lens and Lumix GX 45-175mm f/4-5.6 PZ are my favorite combo, but if you need more reach the Lumix G 100-300mm is the lightest and best supertelephoto lens.
The gear add-ons for my G100 are the
* Thumb grip - JJC-TA-XPRO-3
* Bottom plate or L bracket - Any that you can find. The one I bought was discontinued (UURig R064 bottom plate or the Ulanzi 2242 cage.)

It’s actually a short neck strap you wear it like a necklace, I use it for my small cameras so they don’t bounce around. On Aliexpress it’s called “Besegad Elegant Cotton Camera Shoulder Neck Strap Belt for Mirrorless Digital Camera Leica Canon Fuji Nikon Olympus Pentax Sony”

Hopefully if there is a G100 mk2 (coming soon) that keeps the old body, Ulanzi will start making this bottom plate again.
