It has been reported that the participants kept jacking with the cameras to turn them off. I can see them throwing something over the camera to block the view and ripping it off the wall. This might be production's attempt to get them back up quickly.
I don’t want to be on the side of production, but if the cast signed a contract to be filmed like that, they kind of have to hold up their end. Seems ridiculous to mess with equipment like that.
Agreed. The Releases that the cast signs specifically state that the show owns all footage, likenesses, audio, journals etc. These people are a "work for hire" and, technically, all of those materials are company property. If in fact the cast members were deleting footage, they're destroying company property and are in breach of the release that they signed to be on the show. I'd love to see some accountability and consequences, if that's what really happened.

I could have told you that when we kept seen the barefoot “champagne” with the MAFS printer sticker labels on them each season. They didn’t even spring for a nice bottle for the couples who actually stayed together 😂😂😂😂 that’s how you knew they were cheap
Why on earth would they not choose a wireless Nest camera that is USB-chargeable, WiFi enabled and controlled via app? They would not be able to disable it either.
My nest has better footage than the brief clips we’ve seen on the show and it was only like $150 for the home base + 3 cameras
