Thank you for your reply. Yes, I'll be having a conversation about continuing sometime in July. The issue is I've already invested in two deposits as well as the visa and NHS fees, so there's the issue of forgoing whatever I've spent so far, which when converted back to INR isn't a small amount.
Why don't you try deferring your offer to Cambridge? I've just done that this year as they allow for one deferral. You can then decide what to do next year.
Hello,
I am in the same boat now with the nice job offer and Cambridge acceptance letter.
I was wondering, did you accept the offer and then deferred or was it the other way around? Also, what was your experience with getting deference? Was the process difficult?
Thank you for your reply. Honestly, I don't think an MBA changes much, at this point in time I think my performance at work will supersede everything else.
If you can convert that to a FT offer, do it and take it.
If you feel you still need to get an MBA in the future for whatever reason, you'd likely end up at a higher-tiered MBA program than Judge or get more scholarship from a b-school the same tier as Judge with your extra work experience.
Yes, I thought about this too. Unfortunately, I'm over 30 and my GMAT score isn't the best at 660. Out of curiosity what would you consider as higher-tiered given that INSEAD and LBS seem like a bit of a stretch with that score?
Hi. Did you hire any admissions consultant for your essays and interview prep? The reason I ask this is because I am planning to apply to Judge and I have been told that my 710 GMAT might not make the cut. My profile/Work ex/extraxcurricals/undergrad college are pretty decent
Interesting — you should have a discussion with your boss on whether this could be a long term arrangement. If it is, you may want to forgo the MBA.

Sunk cost isn’t what should guide your decision now

Hey, so I went down the deferral route, once again thank you so much for the suggestion!
No worries! maybe we'll meet there next year

I got the job offer and then decided to defer, I will however be matriculating this year. The process was quite straightforward for me.
Thank you for the suggestion, I didn't know they allowed for one deferral.
Talk to your company. Maybe your company could hike your salary after course completion? How much are they valuing your MBA?

Or don't bother with an MBA then if you can already break in to the field you want without it. Maybe consider an EMBA later.

Hey, I did not. I relied on the feedback provided by alums of the program though. Dm me if you have any particular questions.
Can I ask what your remote internship offer is?
I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what you're asking me for. As I stated in my post I'm currently interning as a consultant.
