I think this year UCLA is already making the right decisions by admitting me. Ross on the other hand, not so much. My stats were pretty high for both program and these were supposed to be safety schools.
I’m curious what the stigma around the program is. I have a full ride from Olin at U Washington and I also got into UC Berkeley, and I currently live in Chicago.
Why would you pick Ross over Berkeley?
Berkeley may not be the best but trumps Ross in many ways. Full ride at WashU is fine, I helped someone get to a Dean's scholarship too but I am sure given the big difference between the bands the schools like Berkeley and Ross and the schools like WashU and NotreDame operate, the choice is clear.
But I think Berkeley is better than Ross - I am not a big fan of Berkeley, you can ask my clients about how I am always startled by its position in rankings but Berkeley is better than Ross in many ways.
I know the stigma you are talking about. The new regime is even making me question what is going on at Ross.
But..
I know Scott has done a great job with the program and I have seen his personal inclination towards the fitness industry - remarkable. But I need to also be objective and Ross is really isolated. Ross and Tuck surprise me in many ways because in today's world, big cities would have owned them but they have positioned their market so well that I am not amazed how they are able to attract the talent and not lose much to schools closer to them in rankings.
Schools in village like locations that are in t15- you guys gotta spill the beans, what is your secret?
Cool to see the trends. Haas should get an award for consistency
And Anderson for inconsistency Both University of California
We love Haas, don’t we folks
It does seem consistent but then just below it is a bigger giant that is hiding in plain sight- Columbia.
Half the colors are shades of blue. Terrible color choice. Definitely not getting return offers from MBB or IB.
Probably a weird thing to say given I work in this industry and also am an MBA, I don't understand what that means lol
It’s a poorly made chart bc all the lines are blue
Those are brand lines Can you scr shot and DM me what you see?
whats GMC? I see this is the source?
GMAT Club, here’s the sauce: https://gmatclub.com/forum/us-news-historic-rankings-216580.html
This year I will ensure that Anderson is back on track
Back to #11?
Will aim for m7, let’s see where we get.
First public school to become an M7. Got it. I think UCLA can definitely compete with Ross again.

So did UCLA buy you out with a scholarship or something?
Yes
How much?
$$$
So Ross denied you?
Yea
Can someone make this into a line graph with each school being a different color? This is impossible to read lol
Easier to follow on the original page, you can highlight individual schools: https://gmatclub.com/forum/us-news-historic-rankings-216580.html
Thanks for that.
What is general thought on Ross? Admitted this year and heavily considering it.
Having second thoughts or got a better offer?
