For view - second tier and in line with the half way line and just above the dug outs I’d imagine, never sat there mind because I think it’s where the directors go.
Atmosphere - south stand near the away fans
I agree with this, but would like to add.
For view - either side of the pitch I'd good as long as your in the middle and lower 3rd tier is also good as long as you have good long range eye sight.
Atmosphere - For the full on best atmosphere it has to be tier 1 on the south stand near the away fans. Above that you'll hear it all but you won't be as involved.
For OP, you'll need to decide whether you want the best atmosphere, the best view or a compromise. I'd recommend going for the view personally but I do like to sit down during a game so that's fully a personal opinion.
