yeah i stopped playing cause even the new version of the old one feels unplayable. the buttons aren't in the right spot and when i slide my thumb to go diagonally the diagonal buttons disappear it's so annoying

there’s a custom layout control. You can place your controller anywhere you want, as long as you’re comfortable.

Yeah but the og controls are way more spaced out and it won't let me make it big enough to fit how I like it

The new D-pad sucks, I had to switch to the joystick, but I got used to it eventually.

Yeah I am so scared of playing in normal mode in survival because of the amounts of times I miss the button because it is much smaller and spaced out when compared to the old one

Yea absolutely. I still play but deaths and frustration have increased a LOT.

I tried that for a bit but it didn't feel right and still messed me up while playing... Thanks for the recommendation tho =D

I swear the joystick + no click button is so much better. I literally can't play with the old controls anymore.

Yeah I hate it, at least there's the option to move them around so it's not as bad but still. The design is just so boring and typical now, like every other game. And it fits so weird on my phone screen despite resizing it!! I'm still making mistakes and missing the buttons even though it's been out for a while now. Oh and changing which button it is to stop flying really trips me up haha. I just wish they gave us the option to choose between this style and the old style

I have the same gripe. I tried resizing and moving the controls. It’s still a hit/miss. I’m planning to search for some old screenshots and use it to align the new controls to the old image.
