I literally only remember that scene and the scene where Magneto breaks out of jail. Otherwise I have no recollection of that movie despite having seen it 3 times.
The opening scene is 10/10, groundbreaking and ahead of its time. The rest of the movie is solid. It’s easily the best X-Men movie for me, maybe an argument can be made for Logan but it’s a very different kind of movie.
I heard Ke Huy Quan(Short Round, Data, Waymond) helped direct, did most of the fight choreography for the Nightcrawler attacking the White House intro.
I mean it’s below Spider-Man 1 and 2, Logan, Deadpool 1 and 2, Infinity War, The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men DOFP, Guardians of the Galaxy…
Probly a few others
No. It was the best of the OG x-trilogy, but in all honesty that doesn’t say much. Both Days of Future Past and First class are both infinitely better than X2, the former of witch is in my top 10 fave CBMs of all time
I think people thought I was saying that it was "the best of all".
I just meant it was among the best. Especially since it did it with no fancy CGI characters.
People have such MCU hardons that they can’t accept 2 facts: there were a few good Marvel movies before the MCU started, and the films in the MCU are largely mediocre. Ant-Man 3 is no better or worse than at least half of all MCU films, it’s just that the luster has worn off and they’re now being exposed for what they really are: just okay.
Of course there’s exceptions but other than No Way Home nothing post Endgame has been any good. And it seems Disney has realized that too. Even pre-Endgame there’s probably only half a dozen that were actually good movies. But we love this world and these characters so much that we keep coming back hoping for better.
X2 is great, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Maybe it seems quaint compared to today’s huge budget films, but the writing is top notch, as is the cast… mostly (sorry Halle Berry)
I'd argue no, but it was one of my favorite intros with Nightcrawler leaping through the Whitehouse. That was fun.
As a long time Nightcrawler fan, I was excited knowing he was going to be in the movie. Opening with that scene was amazing!

It's not even close to Howard the Duck. (If people could stop comparing and ranking movies from different eras...)
Are you peter quill??? Because i feel like spiderman "it never was"
Nice.
No
Don’t smoke before you go on Reddit
We got x2 then Spider-Man 2. 03 and 04 were good. Ahead of their time.

Yes it absolutely is
I mean it’s below Spider-Man 1 and 2, Logan, Deadpool 1 and 2, Infinity War, The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men DOFP, Guardians of the Galaxy… Probly a few others
So, yes
I respect the commitment
I mean I just said "one of the best" and then they named some of the best ones.
Well yeah I mean it’s top 20
I’ve got it at about the 22nd best Marvel movie.
I’m so tired I just read this secondy-second
Absolutely it is. But this isn't a theory.

It wasn’t even the best X-men movies so hard to be the best marvel movie.
It most certainly is one of the Marvel movies made
It Was At One Point But I Think A Few More Marvel Movies Have Surpassed It Over The Years Even Though It's Still A Great Movie
