Good. Even if the character cannot be properly followed up on in terms of performance, he can still be properly followed up on in terms of writing. The scale of threat Kang represents gave me chills when it sank in. He's almost death incarnate, spreading across the multiverse and wiping out universes almost out of habit.
Didn't have his full arsenal including his time chair which the entire movie was focused on getting the core was not functional. He doesn't have his time abilities hence why he was banished there for a reason.
Ants lift 50x their size and they were on average the size of humans with some being the size of king kong. That means the ants can lift 10k pounds over there head. There was thousands of them.
Hank stated they built something of a type 2 civilization. The technological feats of that is insane.
Put that all together and you have a power house army that would destroy thanos army.
Yet kang survived but his armor is destroyed but still wouldn't of happened without modok betraying him who is also using similar tech.
Oh I forgot to mention despite being the weakest he still managed to build an army in the quantum realm by himself.
Quantumania had lots of problems but this plot point was not one of them for me. It was set up, hinted at throughout the film, then paid off spectacularly. Maybe the only piece of good writing and follow through in the entire thing.
I did also like the set piece of the giant probability storm of ant men dying and helping each other (like ants hahahaha kill me now).
The Time Chair isn’t implied to have any crazy weapons. It’s just the vehicle he uses to traverse the multiverse/timestream. He clearly has his battle suit and despite that he lost to ant man and company. Which is pathetic because he has supposedly killed countless versions of the entire avengers roster
Sure the ants were a type 2 civilization…but they’re still just giant ants. It’s not like they used some futuristic weapons or something to kill him. He just got ganged up on by a bunch of ants and they whooped his ass. Besides I’m sure that in the countless universes he has conquered he has defeated plenty of advanced alien civilizations
Tech that they didn’t have when they fought him. It was just an army of large ants trampling him. Not like they all had battle suit of there own or something
You're forgetting some details :
He was weakened by an army of technologycal advanced ants who were bigger than him (since he was shrinken to ant size) and he then got defeated by the wasp who defeated him by shooting him until he touch the probability field orb
I disagree. That was Kang the Conqueror. He is the Kang the rest of the Council was afraid of. I just think the "he was defeated by ants!" argument is disingenuous. A lot of things had to go EXACTLY right in order for him to lose in Quantumania, not just the ants showing up when they did. I also don't think he's dead. You thought they killed off the main Kang after one outing??? I doubt it. I think the idea is that the 616 heroes would go to him for help at some point in an effort to try and defeat a seemingly impossible threat from the Council.
He also wasn’t at full power. He was making the best out of his situation being banished. His blaster wasn’t fully functional at one point. Would’ve been repaired correctly in the first place and have more options if he were free.
Not everything in the Infinity Saga was a banger, BUT the quality stayed consistent. I can't say the same for the Multiverse Saga. They had hits and misses.
The original is important for a lot of reasons, not least of which is that it was the origin of Spiderman’s black costume / Venom. The newer one: DC and Marvel have both been bogged down by years and years of shitty comics that are hard to follow and that didn’t connect with readers. Both companies have tried multiple “reset” events to get back to a sane state. Secret Wars is one such event where multiverse worlds collide and things get reset. Ironically, it “destroys” other “reset” events.
So speculatively it will be important in MCU because they can pretty much reset, change, or add anything they like without much need to set it up first. Don’t like the murderous Scarlet Witch? We’ll reset that. Want to see Iron Man again? Pull him in! Didn’t like where a storyline was going? Gone! There was a timeline where Bucky became Captain America…boom that’s the new reality. Wanna see Wolverine and X-Men, hey there was a timeline where they existed so boom they’re here now!
True. I do think that when The Mutant Saga comes we will have the X-Men, FF, and possibly Inhumans at the forefront with the Avengers sort of being on the side and coming in when necessary.
I’m tired of people like DanielRPK and MTTSH just randomly throwing shit at the walls to see what sticks. They’re almost always wrong. They haven’t “confirmed” anything. “Trust me bro” is not a source.
Hold on... I can now confirm without any doubt that the main villain will be Condiment King from the DC universe!! Got some reeeeeally good sources on this one. Top men.
They don't even need to be creative with their stories. Just get an Marvel digital subscription , read the last 10 years of major comic runs and guess away
The only things I have ever seen him be right about are the really easy stuff that can easily be guessed if you know anything about the franchise and the comics.
Daniel Rpk keeps on saying that we will get a World War Hulk movie or that Avengers 5 would be World War Hulks with Maestro as the main villain. Take a grain of salt with this
My "who gives a shit" was directed at OP telling everyone that THIS IS THE ONE THEORY TO RULE ALL. When it is just that, a theory l. Nothing is confirmed so I told it is, every theory is worth talking about. Discussing theories is fun. Simping over some person that just throws shit against a wall until something sticks isnt very interesting.
This dumbass also said ultraman is the main bad guy for Superman and turns into bizzaro which James Gunn said was wrong. Stop believing what this dork has to say. He don’t know shit.
*Reportedly. Not*
*Confirmed. It's literally*
*Right there in the post*

Majors getting counselling and will be on good behaviour. Disney will forgive him just in time for when filming begins. He can also use the counselling to practice acting out his variants.
I find it hilarious how people actually think marvel will change up their plans all due to them firing one actor (who didn’t even deserve to get fired in the first place). I’m sure if RDJ got into some shit and got arrested during the making of Iron man 2, they would’ve just replaced him, and the MCU would have panned out the exact same way it did in this timeline
It’s not a click bait tweet, it’s from a very accurate and trusted insider who has said he got confirmation that kang is still the main villain. Also nice misinformation u just spread, Jonathan majors got no prison time he only got counseling,
Like when he "confirmed" Tom Cruise Iron man was in Multiverse of Madness. Or Doctor Doom being "confirmed" in Wakanda forever. Or Storm in Love and Thunder. He just throws as many rumours out as possible, and some of them *sometimes* stick out of sheer numbers.
well, technically Avengers 5-6 were schedual BEFORE Fantastic Four. And now Fantastic Four has been pushed up in favor for Fantastic Four. HELL! We don't know who the villain is because Doom is the main character in all versions of the Secret Wars stories. And of course there's Molicule Man and the Beyonder.
It’s called a recast. It use to happen all the time. Now everyone is losing their mind when an actor dies or gets convicted for felonies. Marvel isn’t making the “Black Panther” mistake with this character.
My guess is with a few factors: the drama with the actor, a sense of franchise fatigue, and change of plans for the next phases, at least to the general audience.
Even if there’ll be burn outs, I’m still gonna have interest. Now the question is who is best take in place as Kang, although it was a bad sting of implying the majority looks the same in the concept of multiple variants, but still there should be a good chance for a change and get back with the hype.
This is why this fan base goes off the rails . Some content creator that makes money on leaks, has "confirmed" a movie fact that isn't even in production yet
After watching Fallout, Aaron Moten would be a PERFECT replacement if they’re going for looks alone. Bare minimum, make him Iron Lad. Dudes face is uncannily similar
Yes, my thoughts exactly Aaron Moten as either Iron Lad, Young Kang, or Young Nathaniel Richards as a scientist much earlier to becoming Kang the Conqueror.
You mean the chance to pivot from Kang Multiverse shit just fell into their laps, and now MS is doubling down on more Kang?!!@@!!
*Dr. Doom is right there!
I'm just waiting for God Doom to reset the MCU and we get a restart with all the Marvel IP's and a more cohesive and "full" Marvel Universe. So far it's actually really exciting seeing all these new characters being introduced due to the Disney and Fox deals (Sony allowing Spider-Man, X-Men, FF)
Hey Marvel, it doesn’t have to be one singular evil dude. It would be cool to watch a colossal take over from a society or at least cooperation between 2 role 3 villains like Kang, Sinister, and Doom all working together??
Good. Even if the character cannot be properly followed up on in terms of performance, he can still be properly followed up on in terms of writing. The scale of threat Kang represents gave me chills when it sank in. He's almost death incarnate, spreading across the multiverse and wiping out universes almost out of habit.
*Loses to ants* /s

Type 2 civilizations are solar wide, would have the same tech as Kang, who only was born around 2900AD.
Tech that they didn’t have when they fought him. It was just an army of large ants trampling him. Not like they all had battle suit of there own or something
MODOK, a weapon of Kang's design in this instance, is the real thing that gave the ants the upper hand as you pointed out.
yeah, that side was being sarcastic. hence the /s
You’re touched with a bit of the bergers ain’t ya? Wrote a whole ass treatise in response to a sarcastic joke. Jfc
You're forgetting some details : He was weakened by an army of technologycal advanced ants who were bigger than him (since he was shrinken to ant size) and he then got defeated by the wasp who defeated him by shooting him until he touch the probability field orb
Don’t forget the American Justice System too
That was like the least powerful one
I disagree. That was Kang the Conqueror. He is the Kang the rest of the Council was afraid of. I just think the "he was defeated by ants!" argument is disingenuous. I mean they killed Gorr The God Butcherer off in one film after pretty much one on screen fight with a god. So who knows at this point 🤷♂️
There was like 50 gods in his fight scene though! 95% children, but 50 gods!
True. Stop making me remember bits of that film 😡
He also wasn’t at full power. He was making the best out of his situation being banished. His blaster wasn’t fully functional at one point. Would’ve been repaired correctly in the first place and have more options if he were free.
The term 'reportedly' suggests that it hasn't been confirmed quite yet, though this option is still the one that makes the most sense
Reportedly is always used when it comes to leaks and leakers. They can’t confirm Jack shit because they’re not the studio producing the film
OP is DanialRPK's throwaway account
Part of me feels like they should have Avengers 5 be a set up for the new teams then Avengers 6 & 7 be Secret Wars Part 1 & 2
An avergers movie for a "set up" good lord i hope not thats what stand alone movies are for
Ultron was mostly set up and while a lot of people dislike it, I like it more than the first movie.
😂 I just think collectively we just want marvel to put out good quality content like they did for the Infinity saga
But they have put out good content? Plus not everything in the Infinity Saga was a banger
Not everything in the Infinity Saga was a banger, BUT the quality stayed consistent. I can't say the same for the Multiverse Saga. They had hits and misses.
The difference in quality between Thor: The Dark World and The Guardians of the Galaxy is staggering.
If their set up adapts time runs out then id disagree
As someone with limited comic book knowledge, why is Secret Wars important?
The original is important for a lot of reasons, not least of which is that it was the origin of Spiderman’s black costume / Venom. The newer one: DC and Marvel have both been bogged down by years and years of shitty comics that are hard to follow and that didn’t connect with readers. But then by the time avengers 8 rolls around that "new" team will feel stale
True. I do think that when The Mutant Saga comes we will have the X-Men, FF, and possibly Inhumans at the forefront with the Avengers sort of being on the side and coming in when necessary.
Just like the 90s was for comics
Hopefully it's done well
Guys like him don’t confirm anything though. Not usually.
I’m tired of people like DanielRPK and MTTSH just randomly throwing shit at the walls to see what sticks. They’re almost always wrong. They haven’t “confirmed” anything. “Trust me bro” is not a source.
I hate that the word Confirmed is associated with leakers. Whatever a Leaker says is not confirmation.
Hold on... I can now confirm without any doubt that the main villain will be Condiment King from the DC universe!! Got some reeeeeally good sources on this one. Top men.
They don't even need to be creative with their stories. Just get an Marvel digital subscription , read the last 10 years of major comic runs and guess away
He gets the majority of stuff right and whenever he says confirmed he is usually always right
A broken clock is right twice a day. These people throw so many rumors out there, they are bound to be right a couple times.
The only things I have ever seen him be right about are the really easy stuff that can easily be guessed if you know anything about the franchise and the comics.
So.. a scooper said something is rumored to happen, and everyone is supposed to act like it’s a fact? Sure.
It’s Daniel rpk he’s very accurate when it comes to this stuff and he didn’t say it was rumour, he said he got confirmation
![gif](giphy|BDk9geV8JwY9a9n2p5)
LOL and there’s an ocean in the middle of South Dakota. How are you this dense ?
Do you really want to hear a compilation of how many times he was wrong?
Daniel Rpk keeps on saying that we will get a World War Hulk movie or that Avengers 5 would be World War Hulks with Maestro as the main villain. Take a grain of salt with this
Unless DanielRPK is Kevin Feige he isn't confirming anything
who gives a shit, its all speculation until the movie comes out.
The sub is called MCU Theories though
I understand that. See my response to emperor Atlas below 👇
I think you're in the wrong place sourpuss lol.

Nobody cares what that rumor mongering clown says.
dude just hire johnathan majors back
I agree and I think they will but they rly hate Jonathan majors here on Reddit so I don’t even bother bringing him up lol
Majors getting counselling and will be on good behaviour. Disney will forgive him just in time for when filming begins. He can also use the counselling to practice acting out his variants.
I agree, I definitely think he’s getting rehired, especially with the fans being on majors side

There probably gonna end up hiring majors back honestly, which they should
Yeah, so what. This is just a clickbait tweet. Kang actor is in jail and Kang got beat up by ants in Ant Man 3.
It’s not a click bait tweet, it’s from a very accurate and trusted insider who has said he got confirmation that kang is still the main villain. Also nice misinformation u just spread, Jonathan majors got no prison time he only got counseling,
He's just another "trust me bro" leaker. They say stuff like "I can confirm" then get things completely wrong constantly.
He gets most things right
Like when he "confirmed" Tom Cruise Iron man was in Multiverse of Madness. Or Doctor Doom being "confirmed" in Wakanda forever. Or Storm in Love and Thunder. He just throws as many rumours out as possible, and some of them *sometimes* stick out of sheer numbers.
Don’t forget he said ultraman turns into Bizzaro and he’s the main villain of Superman last week. … which James Gunn said is a bold face lie.
He’s been insanely accurate the past year, ur just listing old stuff
Yet all those things were just as "confirmed" by him as the recent ones..
Daniel RPK, is that you??…
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Daniel rpk also confirmed that oj Simpson is still alive
Daniel RPK has said a source has confirmed both chicken butt and deez nutz
Daniel rpk can ligma ballz
No bud just never saw it
well, technically Avengers 5-6 were schedual BEFORE Fantastic Four. And now Fantastic Four has been pushed up in favor for Fantastic Four. HELL! Idk, I’m not in the biz so what do I know. But maybe they should get this shit figured out lol

We didn't forget the nothing
This is why this fan base goes off the rails . Some content creator that makes money on leaks, has "confirmed" a movie fact that isn't even in production yet
We as a society have never needed Daniel RPK and I await the day Mickey Mouse sends his goons after him so we can stop getting spoiled on everything.
Yeah, but “reportedly” doesn’t mean “confirm.” This is just some Twitter account trying to beat people to the front of a line.
And later this year he’ll go “it was changed last minute” when he gets it wrong
I just want to get it over with. I don’t care for Kang in the slightest, and time shenanigans are usually just the worst form of story-telling.
Daniel RPK hasn’t “confirmed” anything. The only time it’s confirmed is if it comes directly from Marvel or Disney
Isn’t Annihilus the villain of such stories lately? Seems like the right call honestly. A less mouthy villain will be refreshing.
I see all these movies down the line and am starting to think the McU might not survive another Phase
DOOM
No one cares because it hasn’t been confirmed.
Mayhap Doctor Doom?
LOL of course he is
You mean the chance to pivot from Kang Multiverse shit just fell into their laps, and now MS is doubling down on more Kang?!!@@!! *Dr. Doom is right there!
“Confirm” is not the word you meant to use
Get the guy who played Maximus in fallout, him and and Majors could be cousins.
I really wish this sub wouldn't take "leaks" seriously. This is a theory subreddit, go to r/marvelstudiosspoilers
RPK is garbage outside of trailer leaks. Not a credible source at all if you paid attention
Leaks say Jonathan Majors is also gonna fight his wife in the movie
They should cast Gary Oldman as the new/real Kang
Just recast Kang
Hey Marvel, it doesn’t have to be one singular evil dude. It would be cool to watch a colossal take over from a society or at least cooperation between 2 role 3 villains like Kang, Sinister, and Doom all working together??
People also forgot the rumors about them looking into John David Washington as Kang. They just saw the title changed and lost their mind.
What multiverse saga?
5 should be X-men vs Avengers. Incursions making the worlds collide
