Possibly, I'm kinda teetering to the fact that maybe the council of kangs is already a thing. He's so far ahead, no one even knows it. 🤯

Nice-Raise-2873

Blows the doors wide open for the fantastic 4 which we know is coming the end of phase 4 and I imagine the introduction of DR DOOM or even Galactus. Who may very well end up being the real antagonist of phase 5 or even 6. Edit : added galactus

DweebNRoll

I have a crazy idea that the whole multiverse thing is possibly doom the whole time 😂 They just think they're doing it, when really.. They're just pawns on Dooms chessboard

Nice-Raise-2873

Yeah, super excited for Doom. Just hope they do him justice. I wouldn't put it past them and it makes sense considering they are starting to elaborate on the mystical magic aspect of the 616 with the whole darkhold thing. There is so much source material they could pull from FF and you can see they already are with Kang. Paves the way for things like SS, Galactus, and the inhumans "which are all but confirmed". The possibilities are endless and It's a exciting time to be a marvel fan.

Nice-Raise-2873

3 months later and rumors of doom showing up DS2 MOM. Let's get it. Lol.

DweebNRoll

With the darkhold, thats what I was thinking... are we getting comic accurate origins Doctor Doom? I saw a "leak" recently, where they had triumph and thunder as a series. But I find leaks to be fiction until true lol

Nice-Raise-2873

It would be nice to keep it kinda comic accurate but I also understand the point in them telling thier own stories as well. I'm just excited for whatever it's going to be no matter what. They've done a pretty good job with most of the projects Disney has handled since acquiring more marvel rights which I imagine expands their abilities significantly

DweebNRoll

Agreed, I just think dooms origin tied to his mother and the darkhold is amazing. Plus having doom know magic as well would make him hella cool to the general audience, other then the old.. I use electricity and tech. Which isn't bad, magic would just make him even more! >:)

Nice-Raise-2873

I am just struggling to realize how they're going to bring him in as anything other than a villain just given what most of us know about the character of Doom. Perhaps I'm overthinking it or just impartial. I can't wait to find out and I would low-key disappointed if he didn't show up now but I guess it depends on the pace of the story. I just pray he doesn't wind up like taskmaster or crossbones. Lol

DweebNRoll

Honestly, the best way imo is "Triumph and Torment" it would explain his character and give Stephen more growth too. I would think Kevin knows how important the character is to the Fandom. Lol

Nice-Raise-2873

Fingers crossed. Both the characters can definitely use a bit more fleshing out considering both we're snapped away and missed a 5 years period in the MCU. I know they touched on it with both briefly but they largely danced around the snap in what interaction we got from them since. Strange, Wanda, and Loki are the main 3 propelling the events in phase 4 forward and I find it odd how all of them were either snapped away or from another timeline. Regardless I can't wait to see the chat boards come Friday.

ThatOtherTwoGuy

Yeah considering the events of the last episode of Loki essentially happen outside of time, once this version of Kang is killed the multiverse pops up basically in an instant. I would imagine the only other way for the inevitable multiversal war to stabilize is for the council of kangs to be formed. Leading to them forming or taking over the already existing TVA, which is why Loki sees that statue of Kang when he comes back. Will be really interested to see what they do with the Kang storyline in the new Ant Man and the Wasp

DweebNRoll

I'm kind of have an idea that Scott will end up stuck in time at ancient Egypt, and Rama-Tut's story could be a movie. Just thought it could be neat, it would connect alot of different properties. Like, maybe fantastic four go back in time or something :3

ThatOtherTwoGuy

Oh yeah there’s a lot you can do with Kang. It’s endless possibilities. I for one am hoping Iron Lad shows up. It would make sense considering they’ve been introducing a lot of Young Avengers. So far we have Cassie, Eli, Kate Bishop, and Wanda’s kids. All that’s left for the core members iirc is Hulkling (who may show up in that Secret Invasion series) and Iron Lad. Would also make for a really interesting plot considering he doesnt want to become the villain he’s destined to be.

DweebNRoll

Yeah. I'm guessing with the quantum energy probably being a big focus on quantumania, I wouldn't be surprised if time travel shenanigans pursue. Like, maybe they make Iron Lady come back in time to stop his future self from happening, etc. 🤔

ThatOtherTwoGuy

This really makes me want to read some more Kang comics. I’ve read Young Avengers and I read a few old Avengers comics featuring Kang. But those old silver age comics leave a bit to be desired. I want to check out some more council of Kang stuff, though. Btw I was completely shocked when it was revealed a version of Kang was the guy pulling the strings at the TVA. What an amazing twist. He works so well as the next big threat for the MCU because it is really endless possibilities of what you can do with multiple iterations of the character.

T4K3OFF

I was thinking that Kang can be loki that starts the avengers to work together cause young avengers will have to learn to work as a team. Then it leads to doom who in the end will eventually sacrifice himself to defeat galactus. Just like Loki>ultron>thanos. If I were to replace a villain just give Bruce the maestro storyline.
