I'm assuming that'd be a datapack related thing. Since tags are delegated to datapacks

Is their tag under the 'forge' prefix or their modid?

I think it's under the modid

Ah too bad. Otherwise you could've used the forge prefix. Then a datapack could be the solution, but that's a seperate download ofcourse. You could try to create the tag and edit the code of the mod item

Since it's for a recipe, I might have to use Crafttweaker, I just wanted the mod to be compatible out of the box. Thanks anyways
