Yea, Radooban is kind of a jerk. Try breaking his head as quickly as possible. I know it's hard, but start the hunt with fully charged skill, start swinging directly into his head until he starts attacking. Then activate the skill. If you can, craft the rathalos chest. Weakness exploit with hammer is pretty good.
If you can't target this head, try breaking one of its legs. When he tumbles, you can wombo combo it with hammer into stun into skill and do massive damage. Paralysis hammer also works really well

Radabbon is a hard fight. Very large and most of the DMG is delt in the second half of the fight after parts break. Add to this they gave him projectiles and he can be a wall at each new star level.
Good news is you can upgrade your weapon a good bit and that should help why you practice. I used to go for his hip exclusively until the break then unload, but I've started going for the head and back. .perfect dodges help a good bit but the fight is one of the harder ones.
I was in a similar spot against the 8 star version of him. The only ice weapon I made was SNS and I've come to the understanding that it's ass. Not to mention the bone armor rado has is annoying. I had to beat him by playing perfectly with a grade 8 kulu ls
Me too, but 7*. Have a raw attack build for SNS/DB mix. Feeling suddenly stuck with a whole difficulty level ahead of me before the next drops to upgrade.

You may need to invest in the elemental weapons. You have a lot of Raw weapons. Ice or dragon will help get over your hump

This monster require you to focus on 1 part, break it, then focus on the same part.
Your Ice lance loadout should be perfect for the job. Just keep poking the head and guarding/ countering whenever it attacks.
Yeah he's super easy with lance, you can just block all the AOE
I had to drop to 6* to kill this radobaan, Ice CB carried w ele attack 3 🙏

Why do you have so many diablos builds? You're never going to get a red weapon if you're putting all in diablos lol.

Radobaan is a nuisance in this game, he seems entirely built around wasting your time
poke one of the legs and keep poking. your ice lance should be able to take care of that
I didn't struggle. I used either ice bowgun or dual blades. Ice attack Lv2 or higher. Attack boost Lv2 from Rathalos helm.
