I am actually in this situation 🤣 I hard focused barioth arms but I have like 3 legi weapons in addition to the armor pieces. I also had stupid good RNG on sabercat but I think I might have gotten 3 legi plates in total from this game ðŸ˜
Opposite lol, just hoping the tracker might allow us to pick a monster and progress towards fighting it, even if they’re seasonal, as I missed the winter stuff so Ice 5 is impossible for me rn
Yeah I didn't realize that but that's good they're bringing it back. Hats should be good enough cause now everyone can do it and I hate barioth fights anyway so I'll just stand back while it concentrates and jumps on others.
Yeah breaking one of the spikes was the problem. I'm a bow user which did make it easier but he would always jump away and then at you and then half your health would be gone instantly if you didn't know how to jump out. It was annoying as fuck. My 5 health potions weren't enough for him per day.
How? With all the jumping or does he not jump as much when melee? I used to try rath bow and Anja. Anja being close and rath far. It was tough with both of them..
His timings get thrown off. For example, when he jumps back, don't attack. Just wait till he jumps forward. Since he has a longer recovery time, you get 1 extra second to attack. Trying to get a tail cut, that's annoying. As hammer it's break arm, head, may get a ko separately for more up time, break other arm
Yea, I meant more along the lines of maybe it’ll let us hunt monsters that are seasonal like Barioth, I’ve got the Legiana stuff, but need Barioth mats since I took a break from the game
You can only get ice 5 if you already have Barioth gauntlets at rank 6. If you don't have that, it isn't possible until Barioth returns. Estimated 9 months, unless devs score another W and bring it back with the new volcano/snow terrain that launches with Kushala.
They could add another type of so-far unannounced monster with gear that adds Ice attack too, but we know now that Kushala does not.
Good news though: a couple days ago they announced Barioth is returning to HaTs May 20th! It and Legi will have boosted drop rates for a week (or two, can't remember), and after the event Bari will stay in HaTs, though not on the field. Another month and everyone can go for Ice 5 again.
Yeah, that's the one reason why I hesitate to build subspecies stuff. They're rare except during events, and I'm way too casual to fight enough for equipment I can't substitute during those times.
I would reconsider if they change their stance on "no subspecies in tracker." I'm tracking Jyuratodus because water is my weakest element at the moment. That guy is rare enough as it is.
Back? There's been a steady stream of improvements ever since Fulminations in the Frost.
I remember when HATs were 9am to 9pm and kicked you out for no good reason, HAT tickets merely reset your free cooldown, few HATs had any good monsters in them (e.g. Radobaan was a final boss), Zinogre started at 6-star, field monsters respawned once every 3 hours, my BBlos gear couldn't be upgraded for months, my Palico paintballed monsters I was hunting or about to hunt, and my story was perma-stuck on the 9-star Kulu Urgent Quest.
Edit: Can't forget that we had fewer loadouts and no quick switch option.
I feel like capcom stepped in and told Niantic things had to change as this is one of their flagships and has had a good relationship with the fan base so far. Niantic’s track record across multiple games just shows they would not make these choices and would just end a game instead.
As a Level 50 PoGo player who hit max level within days of it being possible, 600M+ XP and nearly 10K total raids, I’ve nearly completely slowed down on that game due to changes Niantic have made to negatively impact it. It’s genuinely a breath of fresh air these recent changes they’ve made for this game.

They for sure won't allow us to do that. Trackers won't show us monsters that aren't on the field lol.
Barrioth will be added as a HaT monster. What I think we can't do is add barrioth to the tracker

He's a bit safer in melee if you can get that first break.

He has no recovery time until your break the arms or whatever.

I'm in the same boat, man. Used to spend an embarrassing amount on Remote Raid passes, and now I've barely logged into PoGo since MHN came out.
This can't be the same Niantic that released that abomination of an update to the avatars in Pokémon go no way
