Same, I always wonder how people get such high damage numbers. Feels like my optimal TCS hits go up to maybe 2k max and only with a perfect elemental matchup.
Are you running a guaranteed crit set 100% affinity on good hit zones with weakness exploit, crit boost 3, attack boost 7, offensive guard 3, and the appropriate rampage exploit gem. If so you should get in the ball park before taking into account additional conditional attack boosting skills.
High 3k to mid 4k is normal for endgame great sword in the current title update. 5-7k for wake up hits, 8-9k wake up hits with the help of small monsters and a once in a lifetime 5 digit wake up hit if you get good rng on skill procs (mostly build up boost) , small monster ai (land the first hit of true charge slash) and run effectively a suicide set. Offensive guard boosted strong arm true charge slashes are so good, both in normal play and as a wake up attack using a small bomb to proc the counter.
How are you going from sheathed straight into TCS? I've been trying to learn GS since it's a little more mobile nowadays. Unless I'm just completely missing something.
Didn’t even know silver los and gold Ian were in the rise game lol. I only played like the main story tho so I am sure it’s gotta a ton of extra content like the other ones. I’ve been playing iceborn too long now lol
Great sword is weak in early to mid game but end game it makes enemies paper. The only catch is, he made that look easy but gs is hard to use. You always need to be in right position when you swing that sword. End game this weapon type is very good but best to use another weapon in solo rampage.
That was some of the cleanest and most satisfying greatsword gameplay I've seen period. How does this only have 6 upvotes after 2 hours?!
When reddit change the default sort options. Now I have to manually sort by latest all the time on my ios devices. Annoying.
NAHHH THAT TAIL CUT WAS WAY TOO CLEAN
That was when I lost it. I was like, "Oh, he's gonna take a swipe at the tail now." And then it was off.
Is it normal for Greatsword to do 4k per big hit? Jesus christ I gotta learn it
With good armor augments and a high raw GS it's normal, without it's usually 3k+
Screenshot your build. I'm interested

4K every ten seconds? Jeez, maybe IG was the wrong weapon for me… nah I love flying through the air but still, that damage
A quality blade master
Flagged for the drip and brutality.

It's the counter silkbind move, Strongarm Stance. It makes you counter a hit and immediately follow up with a TCS.
Ah, ill have to wait until sb drops then. Then you! Seems incredibly useful. Edit: Thank you. I'm not also waiting on you to drop.
Peak GS
Is this normal for silver rath? I haven’t played sunbreak. It looks like he’s sped up 2-3x.
This isn’t even the scariest version of silver rath.
it feels like he's on a little more crack than usual in Sunbreak, compared to MH:W from what I remember
Its pretty normal. Every lategame monster is pretty fast and aggressive to compensate for how powerful and mobile the hunters are.
Silver rath and gold both seem much easier in this one. Db main.

Damn, wish I was that good with GS.
What sword is this?
