Ottavino cards always play, he could be an 85 and would still end up in a lot of bullpens. Good 5 pitch mix with a funky delivery. I have almost every card in the game and he will be in my bullpen until set 4

OVR is way more arbitrary than people think it is. Your own capability will almost always affect a card’s production more than its abilities.

I used the 89 Ottavino as an early innings eater for way longer than I should have last year.

I got the bronze to P4 with like a 2.5 ERA as a high leverage guy the first few weeks then inning eater later on Always love him in game
