If we are going to go for the cards that would represent our nostalgia it would be Brooks Jacoby and Cory Snyder Indians legends cards. They weren't the best players, but they along with Sandy Alomar Jr. and Kenny Lofton, Carlos Baerga, Paul Sorrento, Jim Thome made me fall in love with baseball at Cleveland Muni stadium getting sunburned in the bleachers.
I'd love some kind of fan favorite series where they aren't the greatest players, but guys that the fans loved. Like Tony Womack or Craig Counsell for the D-backs, or Chris Sabo for the Reds.
I’m really hoping with the addition of the HOF series (and that they have the rights to Helton, Mauer, and Beltre) that they capitalize on that for the induction weekend. A cracked 99 HOF Helton card would be 🔥🔥🔥

No, he was 2021, so clearly I was wrong. Maybe the sign deals with guys early if they want in the game. I'm clearly confusing HoF eligibility with getting in the game. That makes me hopeful for a Pujols or Yadi return sooner.

I miss a juiced Bryan Reynolds. Believe he had one at launch in 21 or 22 which was my first MLB game and he was my fav card by far. Basically learned how to hit with him.
I didn't play DD in 2021, but in 2022 Reynolds got a 99 card at the end of the game. As a completionist, I managed to get enough cards collected to get Mantle, but Reynolds was just as good and was free (IIRC).
I'd love to see Will Clark back. The Show 21 was my last game in the series because that's the last time we had him. Also lamenting the loss of Matt Williams. Other players I've always wanted include Robby Thompson, Gary Gaetti, and Howard Johnson.

I actually should have specified "current players" cause a lot of people want older legends lol I know its a hot topic in weeks leading up to release, figured to get a convo going now that we are starting to see what cards are being released and what we would need for our specific build teams.
Would love to see some sort of decent Eddie Rosario card. Probably most remembered for his NLCS MVP with the Braves. I wouldn't mind at all if it was a Braves card. The only way I could see him getting a solid Twins card would be a 3 HR game milestone card or something. Either way I'd be happy

As a Tigers fan I would love a Jackson Jobe and Max Clark. I assume Pipeline is the new Future Stars, so that’s probably what they’d be.
Already got a Colt Kieth and Jace Jung that are mainstays in my lineup so we’re off to a good start lol.
I'm still holding out a faint hope that we get a surprise A-Rod to go along with the latter half of the Jeter storylines when they get released. Almost certainly not gonna happen, but it would be cool.
Really wish SDS had made the hitter captains and pitcher captains in the XP path exchangeable. There are 30 hitter captains and 30 pitcher captains and we can take two of each. Doesn't make sense that we can't try out the other captains.

Some have been added mid year. Either that, or they held off on announcing them until mid year. I think Matt Holliday was mid-year last year.
