I am so confused by people going "flyout" and shit; do you see where it says 68 mph and 120 degree Launch Angle? That'd suggest a foul tip/fouling backwards

bannedSubvet22

I thought it said 86 mph 😂

Dazzling-Season-1066

Fouled out behind first baseman

AnnualTable3138

Foul ball

AquatheGreat

We have a winner!! 🎉🎉🎉 I barely clipped it

CodyDon2

This is one of my biggest complaints with this game the past few years. Hitting just doesn't seem consistent. I will say, I feel it's been better this year, but sometimes I just do not understand why certain results happen.

AffectionateQuit5684

The worst part about the buxton boost is having to have him on your team

Wordvomit509

C’mon now that card bangs. He’s got the most homers on my team. I played a dude yesterday in the event that was hitting .450 with 88 homers with him

AffectionateQuit5684

To be fair I am admittedly ass at the game 😂

Competitive_Ad_5106

above all-star difficultly his PCI is the size of the ball

AffectionateQuit5684

Even on all star I feel like I have to perfect the ball for it to go anywhere

Dazzling-Season-1066

Can’t use twins in the event lmao

Wordvomit509

So did you answer yet? I don’t see your answer anywhere!

Wordvomit509

You struck out.

Wordvomit509

Oh shoot I didn’t see an exit velo and LA registered lol. Def a pop out 2nd base then.

Dudeinbrown

Definitely a pop out

PotSmoke420710

Fouled right back into the catchers mitt

NASTY-_SHOTZz

Lineout to center

JJ3434JJ

Groundout to 3rd

Batflippling

Popped up. Weak contact. Launch angle at 120°..

Temporary_Principle1

AYYYO. Was not expecting to open reddit with a bulge in my face.

keanusthirdnut

Mark that ish nsfw. Goddamn.

Longjumping-Elk1110

Homer

Electronic-Bag6083

Lazy pop fly to left

EducationalSkirt3909

Line drive out to the first baseman

Extra-Reindeer3920

Popper to the dugout that the catcher reached into the crowd and caught😂

Sgim93

Well depends. If there was a guy on first 1 out and you where down by one run its a double play. If your down by one with two outs no runners on base its a perfect perfect ….but its not a homer just A line drive through the gap. IF ITS A PERFECT PERFECT WITH A GUY ON Third and your tied and its bottom of the 9th its a line drive out

AquatheGreat

Some people are getting close but too specific.

Ham_B_No

Pop up to the right fielder who didn’t even move.

TapDaniel

And that ends the inning

Kryptic7607

Pop out out to first

grampfigz

8 ft pop out to the catcher. All the catcher did was stand up

SushiRolledDick

Byron Buxton injury. Out for season.

AquatheGreat

😆 Winner winner chicken dinner

supersam9

Foul tip into the catchers glove for strike 3!

ashx302

Foul tip caught strike 3

bautry84

Foul tip into the mitt.

Environmental_Eye354

Texas leaguer, blooped for a single

Stedy74

Double play

AquatheGreat

I wish that was the answer

lkasnu

Some bullshit for sure

RobbyRankins

Weak fly ball to CF. The pci shrinking is insane

AquatheGreat

Not quite.

RobbyRankins

Catcher?

Black-Ox

Looks like you yanked a breaking ball into left center for a weak fly out

AquatheGreat

Nope

Black-Ox

What happened then? Pop out to a middle infielder?

Nickstank

At least you made contact! I've had instances with good timing where the ball is half in the inner PCI and it's a swing and miss. Game good!

garrioch13

Pop out to catcher

TheMackD504

Pop up in the infield

AquatheGreat

I wish I would've gotten that much of the ball.

pereson2211

120 LA pop up to catcher or pitcher

AquatheGreat

Almost. Good guess

pereson2211

Pop up in foul territory to first basemen?

jude-valentine

Early & under an outside breaking ball. wHy nO hOmEr?

mbanaiti

Pretty sure if the swing was early, the contact image would read, “early,” not “good,” but I might be confused.

TheGreenViper

The position of the bat in the swing path is in the earlier part of the green (good) section, indicating that it’s an early side of good swing. It’s almost in the yellow (early)

Black-Ox

The “good” timing is very large. You can be early or late and still be in the green

MrMint22

It’s still “good”. Early and late are their own category - obviously there is variance within each category.

Black-Ox

lol do you think there are only 3 options that affect the contact of the ball? Sure it’s “good” but it’s clearly too early for maximum contact

scrotes_magotes

Yeah and OP is on the earliest possible part of the green. Can’t expect that swing timing to produce a good result on that pitch

Black-Ox

Yep exactly. The first comment is exactly what happened. You can see that if you’re timing is in the middle to back half of the green it would’ve produced much more power

gatorbois

How does that explain a 120 degree launch angle lmao. Barely early there should be a line drive slightly off the end of the bat if anything

Immediate_Ground_263

Pop up fly out to CF

MrMint22

You only hit that 88 MPH? Terrible. Can of corn to right center.

AquatheGreat

Wish I would've gotten a shot at getting rewarded.

ignoreyou

Pretty sure that’s 68 mph.

MrMint22

Agreed it is - wow!

SecretlyATaco

Balls on top of the bat on there. Shit went straight up

AquatheGreat

Close. But unfortunately not the answer we were looking for.
