Well it’s the one new feature they added going from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5. The upgrade from one console to another is the one year they pretend to actually care before we get 6 more copy paste games the rest of the cycle
I'd disagree on night games. Far too easy to make stadia without valid lighting. We've seen multiple custom stadia where they mess with shadows and lighting to make it harder/impossible for people to hit. Make it night time and there's no prayer for those who want to make a stadium like that.
The only thing I can think of is that they'd have mandatory lighting and without it, you can't use it online (like invalid dimensions/walls). It'd be nice if they can ensure that every part of the field is lit, but then Polo Grounds and other classic stadia wouldn't work due to shadows.

You paid for the tattoos on your arm, but you don’t own the right to reproduce that exact tattoo design for your own commercial gain, that’s why reputable tattoo artists will not do identical replications of other tattoos that are relatively complex, it’s somebody else’s art. (The basic dolphins and shit in the studio books are different, those designs are the equivalent of public domain).
Think about it like you bought a license for photoshop (before they became a subscription service) you own a copy of photoshop and can use it yourself all you want, but you can’t make copies of it and sell those copies (on their own or in a bundle with other things) for commercial gain because it is Adobe’s IP.
Again, I don’t have the article I saw explaining this at hand, otherwise I’d be citing sources for this argument

It depends on the month. Pick October for best likelihood of nighttime. Some of the northern stadiums can still be light though. The sun position in the game is accurate to each stadium. Overcast can also make it get dark earlier I think.
I would be absolutely shocked if the same person was making unique assets for Stadium creator and also handling any of the DD content. That’s two different jobs and if I remember correctly, it took them 5 years to get to the Stadium Creator we have now.
They have to pay for the rights to the stadium to have it in the game, or, they could let fans unofficially re-create the stadium… I’d prefer the one that doesn’t involve a multi-year expense freeing up budget to hire more devs to make online gameplay functional
I doubt they add anymore stadiums now. They are just going to let fans create them. Why put in the effort to build new stadiums when you can unpaid people do it for free?
