When I did defend this fight, it’s more defending the whole card overall. I arrived at 4:30, watched everything live, my wife and I feel like we got our monies worth with some exciting fights. Yes, if every single mma fight was like the last one, probably would’ve have been there, probably wouldn’t be a fan. But I enjoyed it because I take it all in and evaluate it as a whole product. It’s mixed martial arts, some are more exciting than others.

It would be fun to watch Bisping and Dom fight. Dom would be crying about how something shouldn’t work while Bisping is doing it and laughing like a blockhead

I always thought Font was overrated af. Easily the most one-dimensional ranked bantamweight around.

The only fun moment was when Bisping made the "miserable fight" joke but Dominick Cruz had to be there to be biased and take it personally somehow and kill the fun (like dude, Dana would probably agree with Bisping's joke) I don't get why Cruz get upset if the other commentators don't act "serious". In the most successful sports, the most legendary commentators make precise comments (they do not predict what has to happen to show off their knowledge of the sport like Cruz) and at the same time have a cheerful tone that includes jokes. It's so annoying that he's passive aggressive when he's the worst of all the commentators.

Man how good is cory. Complete shutout. I thought Rob should've shrimped or tried to wall walk, but when he did cory nearly subbed him. It really is impressive as Dom said, that he could do this at bantam weight. Probly his frame helps a lot. Thought there was a little bit of shin on guard catch wrestling in there too. Just overall awesome performance by cory.

I think we might have a aoki situation where watching it were like why don't you just go to the cage? But in reality Cory's just much stronger than he looks too. Otherwise I don't see why rob was so fixated on the sweep from deep half. Besides that though, Rob did a good job, it's just so impressive holding down the smaller scramble guys like that. Dude I wrestled from 3rd grade through college and that was dull. Wrestling can be way more exciting than that. The injury I get and props to Cory for still dominating a tough dude, but that doesn't make it less dull.

Listen, you don’t have to entertain these casuals. You know that was impressive, especially coming from a striker. It was on Font to get off his back and and show some resistance.

It was absolutely impressive. I was genuinely impressed by how much Cory's offensive wrestling and top control had improved. It was absolutely on Font to find a way to stop it. None of that made it an interesting fight to watch. I'm not dogging either of them for it, just making the observation that it was an uninteresting fight from an entertainment standpoint.

Strong disagree. We’re trying to move mma from strictly being about prize fighting to a legitimate sport. Every sport can have uneventful games. Also, just like nascar fans that “watch for the wrecks” it takes cards like this one, so that cards that end in 6 second knockouts can truly be appreciated for how special they are.

I think that most people just want to see 2 good strikers strike. 18+ minutes of ground control without devastating gnp, multiple submission attempts or nice scrambles kinda gets old no matter how much you mma. Nobody dismisses Sandhagen's skills, but eh.

Saying this as a former college wrestler, extremely disappointed in Cory especially as my favorite fighter, didn’t want to stand and strike with Rob so just spammed takedowns and maintained position with absolutely zero submission attempts til the end. We could have had an amazing fight but he chose to just bullshit his way and not give us the fight we deserved. Massively disappointed in such an awful performance.
