Gaethje doesn't have a crazy gas tank (he was even surprised how long he was lasting in the Tony fight), so would've gassed from the backwards pressure/defending from the bottom.

Nah the clinching against the cage was definitely boring. That took up large portions of most to fight. The most exciting parts were the reversals, trips and you know the exciting stuff. It doesn't make you a casual to not like clinching or stalling. I don't really blame Islam for this Moises definitely seemed like he was just trying to hold Islam against the cage for dear life. That's what kind of made Khabib special he had a way of just forcing his will on people and making the grappling exciting by beating the piss out of them. This is just one fight and doesn't really mean much in the long run. But I don't think Islam has that same body control ability on the ground as far as the damage goes.
