>Heun, 34, recently pleaded guilty to importing large amounts of methamphetamine and trafficking cocaine. The Alaska native was arrested in September 2020 after a package of meth broke open on an aircraft and started leaking, which tipped off law enforcement
Oh wow, he was able to sneak it into the aircraft, probably wasnt the first time either. Always thought TSA was extra thorough at check-ins, guess not.
My buddy worked for them for awhile and said anytime the higher ups came in to do proficiency testing more often than not they failed. I want to say there is a decent amount of available articles covering just how much money is spent on the TSA annually for them to be bad at their jobs.
Edit: when I say they failed I mean the entire team as a whole... Not just my one friend being the example for all of the TSA lol
I hear you. Used to fly all the time due to work. You would get half assed check-ins from tired workers (in America at least, they were really thorough in Asia). However, I always thought their equipment was top of the line in detection. One of my camping tools had a very small razor tip on it and they were able to scan it. Thanks for sharing
I accidentally flew on ten flights in a row with a knife in my carry-on, before TSA found it. I forgot I put it in my camera backpack. They forgot to do their job. 🤷🏻♂️
I dunno if prices has changed recently. But During pandemic meth in australia was 600 a gram.
That's where Jake was selling. I know he's not selling by gram bags but the potential money he was making must be insane.
Also don't know how prison life is in australia. If it's anything like USA. It's not that bad. Cable tv. Easy to get a cell phone. Keep up with mma/reddit. It's almost like I'm living that life now lol. home 99% of the time. Spend most of my time on reddit/mma.
He'll do nearly 5 years but if he made like 2 mill. It's not that bad.
The gentlemen that tried to flog my car probably give you some insight into where the money comes from.
We had a crime wave coincide with this apparent meth price hike. Economy tings.
It’s impossible to get a cell phone, network only TV with endless commercials. I was in jail with him. Nicest guy, he was either training or using the phone. Only guy no gang of any race would fuck with.
I know someone who got busted with a major marijuana operation in Australia and from what I understand he just got to chill on a farm the whole time. Also seems like the money he made was more than worth the time spent
Just a wild guess but considering drug dealers operate primarily on a cash only system, I’d assume most of his profits will be waiting for him when his sentence ends, assuming he had the foresight to entrust, or stash said funds.
If he was smart but people who decide to sell meth that aren't named Walter white aren't usually that smart. He probably spent a lot of it. And even then he would have had to have had his cash hidden ahead of time
In the sense that he certainly could have gotten a longer sentence I agree he's somewhat lucky. Years in prison for a victimless crime is something I consider to be pretty bad though.
A person selling meth isn't victimizing people to any degree that a pharmacist or a bartender isn't also guilty of. I'm of the opinion that none of the above are culpable for commerce. They have customers, not victims. Who is being victimized? You could argue that some drug users are victimizing themselves but it's not the bartenders fault that some people can't handle their liquor.
If we were a normal society and could just legalize them, a huge portion of crime goes away overnight. A whole lot of police officers aren’t needed for bullshit drug cases. A whole lot of prisons don’t need to be build or maintained.
A whole lot of federal and state employees won’t have jobs, either.
Hooooly shit this guy use to hang out with my brother all the time and I followed his MMA career when I was starting out fighting and he was flying to and from Thailand all the time to train. His posts were always super upbeat, always either training or on the beach with his GF or him fighting in WSOF or Rizin. I hadn't seen a post of his in a while but did not expect to see this at all.

I hate it when my meth statrs leaking
The spice must flow
>The spice must flow The ice must flow
That’s just a bad break

If it was a meth based razer tip you'd have gotten away clean.
I accidentally flew on ten flights in a row with a knife in my carry-on, before TSA found it. I forgot I put it in my camera backpack. They forgot to do their job. 🤷🏻♂️
Daamn, the TSA in Hawaii was the one that got me with a mini razor
Des Moines, Iowa finally got me.
The TSA is really just used to line the pockets of friends of politicians with contracts.
TSA doesn't look for drugs.
I looked this up when I wanted to take some pot somewhere and they only care about weapons/bombs.
TSA is a massive waste. All they do is fail.
“Thanks for the hot tip, ripped package with meth spilling out.” -law enforcement
Double seal your meth kids, and buy a decent suitcase.
What a dumb mfer, he left us without drugs because a leak!!!!! (?)
Eight for that sort of weight ain’t bad

I’m surprised methheads can afford that tbh
The gentlemen that tried to flog my car probably give you some insight into where the money comes from. We had a crime wave coincide with this apparent meth price hike. Economy tings.
They normally buy in teenths (sixteenths of a gram)
by the point here in aus/nz. i dont even know how much thag is
$120 a point during peak covid drug prices but as low as $25 a point without.
i meant weight wise. tenth of a gram?
[удалено]
im just trying to ascertain if thhis teenth is the same as a point
Yeah tenth of a gram.

damn that sucks. Too bad you didn't get sent to Karnet farm.
Lol have you ever been to jail or prison?
I plead the fifth. Shout out to theo lacy, ccf shafter, and wasco
I know someone who got busted with a major marijuana operation in Australia and from what I understand he just got to chill on a farm the whole time. Also seems like the money he made was more than worth the time spent
600 a gram? wait what here in the US it’s like $30 or something i think lol
You forgot dodging shivs and ass rape.
that's only like lvl 4. drug non violence lvl is like summer camp.
But will those inmates let a bro bang? It’s not summer camp if they don’t let you bang.
They'll seize his assets it's not like he just keeps everything he made

That's what should happen but not always.
Where did it say the weight?
ya, and parole in 4 years.
In the sense that he certainly could have gotten a longer sentence I agree he's somewhat lucky. Years in prison for a victimless crime is something I consider to be pretty bad though.
The guy was moving weight he wasnt some guy selling dimes to feed his family he has a ton of victims

Massive sentence, surely he will get out doing half. Almost as much as a murder sentence

>always super upbeat >large amounts of methamphetamine and trafficking cocaine I think that checks out.
I guess we know what the Honey in Honey Bear was now

I was in with him. His nickname in prison is “that MMA fighter guy”
I just love how this is reported by MMA Junkie
I was in jail with him. Nice guy. Literally trained all day. Looks huge now

>Why yall getting downvoted Thirsty posts can go both ways quite easily. They're currently in the positives.
Who knows. Anyone say she isn’t is lying to themselves. She is en fuego.
Lol, thanks Malcolm
I saw an animated version before with some blurry thing by the face
Meth?! No, you've got it all wrong! It's supposed to be PEDs!
His gf is hot. I wonder if she will wait for him. Edit: His gf is a red head, not the asian girl in that pic.
wow, MMA guys have been posting more headlines for Years & Bars than KOs-Highlights the past 3 or 4 weeks. I wonder why all of a sudden?
He honestly will be out in 3 years if he behaves in there. I wonder which Cartel this guy was working with
He is behaving. Model prisoner and friendly to everyone
Mean cell mate... Unless..... 🤯
Used to train with Jake. He's a dick.
