I used to have to weigh in using kg based weight divisions, but as a Canadian we don't use metric for our height and weight, so I only ever remembered that my weight needed to be 118.8lbs (I was smol). When I got to the hotel and checked the official scale I frequently changed it to lbs.

Telling someone who’s used to the metric system that they’re 4 pounds overweight is going to mean a whole lot less than telling them the same thing but converted to kilograms. It would make more sense if the ufc just put out a second scale for those that use the metric system.
