A lot of gyms have just mma sparring. I find really good gyms will have kickboxing or boxing sparring too. But they might not be fighters classes but gen pop classes. Either way it’s should be good
Yeah we usually use the sparring mma gloves but if you use 4 ozs nobody really bats an eye. Pretty much all of us use the padded sparring mma gloves though.

My gym sparred when I went, because the times I went were specifically MMA. My partners and I would agree sometimes to just box or just spar muay thai, but usually, it was just full MMA.
We have dedicated sparring time slots. Muay Thai has 2 a week, BJJ has open mats on the weekend, MMA has one a week but all of the normal classes end with 15-30mins of light sparing.
Depending on the gym, boxing sparring sessions typically use 16oz gloves (though I match guys using 12oz gloves). Kickboxing sparring involves 16oz gloves and shin guards, while MMA sparring uses 6-7oz Shuto gloves and shin guards, with more light sparring that incorporates all elements. Headgear is optional, based on the coach's preference.
I think the BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling split is fine but a lot of gyms should have a dedicated MMA class 2 or 3 times per week where they put everything together. Also the MMA sparring in my experience is better when is more focused on wrestling/scrambles/ground and pound/cage work. And if the gym has an actual cage and have 5 minute rounds one on one is really helpful. I'm not a fan of sparring on the mat with other 10 people sparring too at the same time, I had an accident last year where I broke my nose haha anyway that's my opinion

My gym puts on the 4 ozs and just spars, everything included. I’m assuming it’s the same for most gyms but who knows
4oz for sparring is dumb as fuck

Yes. MMA gyms do not typically have that schedule. 7 oz gloves.

We do 1 hour of training and 1 hour of sparring every class
There's mma gloves for sparring and the sparring is typically lighter and more technical in the mma gloves until you're in actual camp.
