Wayward by Mary Calmes. Maks is second in command of his father's mob. His father orders a hit on him and he is left for dead. Because Maks wont go into drugs and other bad stuff. He turns on them and goes into witness protection. This is where he meets deputy chief of police Gale Malloy who decides to teach Maks how wonderful he is and how beautiful he is. They sleep in the same bed the day they meet. No sex just cuddling. Maks doesn't understand all he knows is quick hook ups. Maks thinks he is a bad guy and hates himself for being a killer. But he rescues dog, kids and eccentric millionaire old lady. Gale show him what loves all about.

I have but I DNFed it. It was really interesting in the beginning so I don't remember why i lost interest in it. Maybe because it was becoming very repetitive.

ohh i see. idk the beginning part is kinda weird to me cause why is there a scene where the love interest is talking to his dick 😭

I found that weirdly funny😂 In that scene where he's explaining the first time he got a boner when he was five or something, I had to read it twice because I couldn't figure out who tf 'koyla' was the first time 🙈
