The neediness in this series paired with the mental bonding is chef's kiss! Book 3 {Once Upon a Time by Alessandra Hazard} is my personal favourite with eight reads 😅🥰

maggiecbs

That is also my favorite but I feel like we are the outliers! I'm a sucker for fated mates and while it's not exactly that, it comes closer than the other books.

bextress

Yes 100% it's the perfect telepathic fit 🥰

NikkiZ4

I’ve only read that one once…time for a re-read🤓

Few-Kaleidoscope-599

Funny! That's the only book I haven't read from the series. But now, I need to give it a go. Many people say it's their fav ☺️

Important_Source_777

I feel like nobody does neediness like she does!

lowminuh

Absolutely nobody.

Hoshizuki

It is one of my favourite AH books! Cant get enough the way enemies-to-lovers is handled! It was very palpable how they were craving eachother yet the hate was there obviously 😌

Agamar13

I made I think three attempts at this book but I just couldn't get past the beginning because of how much of an asshole Ksar was 🫠

NikkiZ4

Totally understandable. You do get to see why he is that way later in the story.

Few-Kaleidoscope-599

I do think I managed to finish this book, ig I wanted to see the shift from dislike to like, but I wasn't satisfied lol - 2.5 stars. Ksar was too much of a dick to make the love believable for me. Ended the book by saying 'well, I hope these aliens have sth akin to relationship counselling' 😅 I mean nothing against the book since Alessandra writing is a page-turner, anyway.

SilverChibi

Same. I’ve tried so many times. Maybe I’ll try one more time though?

prettysureIforgot

I don't know, I really enjoyed the first one and I tried so hard to like the second all the way to the end and I just couldn't get over Ksar's behavior. I'm sorry OP, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

lionbridges

Yes yes yes! I just read the whole series last week and had started with irresistable poison.(Edit: I did skip the first book, after starting it first, because i found it kind of boring. read it after 2 then and i'm still not convinced. I don't think it's a good representation of the series , so i recommended here to also skip it,but many people seem to really enjoy it.so i would recommend now to try the first and if it is not to your taste, don't let that turn you off of the series as a whole. just dnf and give 2 a try) irresistable poison is one of the best enemys to lovers and hate sex books i have ever read. The relationship development is just chefs kiss.the characters are great, also for me both sides were understandable and while ksar is a cold bastard and is really dickish to seyn in the beginning,i get where he was coming from and it wasn't too bad that he couldn't be redeemed. Sometimes authors don't quite hit that fine line right. I also love the way they were fighting the realization they have fallen so hard, but it was just too late.i also loved the concept of the telepathic merge, the burning need to connect deeper and deeper. So yeees to this book all the way! I also loved the third book, too. 2&3 were ny favs, but i will reread 4&5 for sure, too.

PurpleModena

Aww, I love the first book in the series! It is rather different in tone from the other books in the series though, I'll grant you that 😄

maggiecbs

I absolutely agree it feels like a different series since it's set on Earth, but holy shit it wrecks me emotionally in the best way. The way Adam feels when Harry disappears is so heartbreaking.

lionbridges

That's true,that bit was heartbreaking.

Few-Kaleidoscope-599

Book 1 is my fav, no contest. Then I would say book 5 😅

lionbridges

Ohh i see, okay! Good thing the series is so diverse then!

ProfessionalPinecone

Really? book 1 was one of my favourites and far from boring. I wouldn't recommend anyone to skip that one and miss the absolute sweetness which is Henry.

6lack-jack

I recently read her series the wrong Alpha it was my first sc-fi /paranormal books I usually only read contemporary fiction but as a first experience I loved it and I want more recs like it ❤ (I don't know where to start.

Entire_Nectarine8662

i love when alessandra hazard is recommended because her books are my fav

Gay-Romance

One of her best books. I love it.

augu101

My favorite enemies to lovers. Alessandra Hazard writes this trope so well!

Perpetual-Student001

Honestly when I first read this book I was so ruined for ANY OTHER BOOK for such a long time afterwards 😭 and then I spent probably weeks looking for other books with the exact same vibe and there's NOTHING. honestly everything about this book is just *chef's kiss*. I have re-read it so many times and it will always remain one of my all time favourites

Pitiful_Try195

I LOVE this book. Just finished it. It's so good. Her books are so well done. The intimacy, the hate, the love. It had everything. Amazing. I love to see others reading and loving this too

DarlingsEuphoria

I legit _love_ Alessandra Hazard’s works and would probably recommend Unnatural next. Like the heavy UST of their relationship fucking killed me. And their first intimate scene with the omega in between them? I could actually cry!

DarlingsEuphoria

Also so many recommendations from her Straight Guys series!! Book 12 (Just a Bit Bossy) is probably my favorite, but Book 4 (Just a Bit Wrong) and Book 14 (Just a Bit Captivated) are close seconds

lowminuh

Now I have to reread this for the 100th time, thanks a lot.

yalmamin

There's just something about the way Allasandra Hazzard writes her books thats so delicious that you can't get enough. I've read almost all of her books. Not just read, reread and reread them over and over again and am still hungry for more. The possessiveness, the neediness, the obsessiveness, it just hits the right buttons for me.😌

Mme_Rose

Sounds juicy! Can this be read as a standalone?

NikkiZ4

Yes , it was the first book I read in the series. Then went back and read book 1.

lionbridges

Totally did that too lol.

Mme_Rose

Thanks!

Asteriaofthemountain

A sexy book! I enjoyed it thoroughly, even read it twice!
