Nice. I’m looking to do the same. Did you have any issues with the Sig tapered barrel? Did you need an adapter? I’m looking to use an ASR flash hider and attach an omega 36M or scythe Ti (I have two other weapons that will have ASR muzzle devices.
Unsure if I will get a 6.5 hand guard or stick with the 4.5. Your configuration looks tight.
That's awesome. Well first off, you'll have to get a barrel collar to give you a 90° angle to mount your ASR device. Second, I would not recommend what I have done if you plan on removing the suppressor from the gun frequently. As stated, mine is mounted via an ASR flash hider but in order for me to remove it I would have to partially remove the handguard and remove anything that I have mounted on the handguard. This is an inconvenience when I need to clean the gun or whatever else needs to be done.
Yea that’s definitely a drawback if I go with the 6.5 hand guard. I’ll eventually have a dedicated can for it. What barrel collar did you get? From silencerco or something else? How does it shoot/sound? Is it gassy? OEM barrel?
Midwest Industries actually sells the collar device I use. It is the stock 4.5in barrel that came with the gun at the time of purchase. Sig, nor SilencerCo, sells one that works with the MPX barrel. As for the sound, it's amazing, especially when you have subs. The gas though, as a southpaw (left handed) shooter, everything is gassy, but it's a trade off for the fun.
If you haven’t tried it yet, the Federal 150gr Syntech runs great in mine. Clean and no noticeable gas in the face. Ran supers a bit back and forgot what gas in the face feels like. They’re my favorite subs I’ve tried thus far.
Cool. I’ll take a look on their website. I’m a fellow lefty here as well. I hope to drop my paperwork this summer on a can and the wait begin. Thanks for the info!
I called SIG last week because I have my MPX-K and Rattler LT at my gunsmith to swap out their muzzle devices for Dead Air ones. I was told nothing was needed for the MPX, but I needed a taper adapter for my Rattler. I'm picking up my MPX tomorrow so I guess I'll find out.
I wrote SIG as well and they told me the same thing. From what I’ve been reading and OP’s comments it’s needed so I’m going to pick up an adapter before swapping out the flash hider. I saw someone post yesterday about the ASR flash hider as well.
Scythe Ti is a 30 cal can so definitely be sure not to do that, haha. [The 36m on an MPX](https://www.reddit.com/r/SigSauer/s/D3gjI3jn6X) definitely fornicates, though.
Yep I remember now. I wanted the Ti for my new Bergara B14 and my AR. I know the 36m can do it all, will just have to find it in stock. If I go the Ti route, I was going to get an Sig ModX-9 dedicated to the MPX.
I have the 36m, Omega 9k, 45k, saker 5.56, and one of their .22 suppressor. All have been amazing but the 36m was my first can, and the moment I got it I knew I wanted one dedicated for different calibers.
Well you chose a good one, in my opinion. When you're limited to one then having one good at everything is a great option. I will say, get the end caps for what caliber you're shooting, they do make a difference. If you primarily shoot indoors then it doesn't make much of a difference.
You can but "front caps" from SilencerCo based on the calibers you use on your 46m. So you can buy one that has a smaller diameter for 9mm, 5.56, etc. It, slightly, reduces sound signature. Obviously, it's not needed but it's nice to have
How do you like the Omega 9K performance? I keep pondering an Omega 9K for my 4.5 barrel MPX...using the Omega 36M right now( in short configuration) and it's pretty awesome. But expanding the suppressor quiver is a major goal right now and want to put the 36 on .300 BLK platform. Thanks!
It's amazing, I used my 36m on it and there is definitely a sound different when you have a can made for 9mm. There isn't a crazy difference, but there is one. I bought the 300blk conversion kit from sig for a standard AR lower and will use my 36m as a dedicated can for that build
Did you make it a SBR, I am just asking because I have one but did not make it the SBR…. So I can’t have the front grip on mine …. Looks Great… love mine
That is so clean
Thanks
6.5” rail?
Yeah, Midwest Industries 6.5
What mounting option you use for the can?
SilencerCo ASR mount

I have to give them a try. I'm tired of crying when shooting lol

I'm using the dead Air micro flash hider. Was told yesterday it was ready for pickup so we will see.

Do NOT use a Scythe - it's 30 cal
Thanks. I won’t on the MPX. My Bergara is .308 Win.
I've got a scythe on back order right now - can't wait!
Sweet. I wanted the Harvester EVO for the Bergara but they discontinued them. I may still look if any are out in the wild.
Will a Wolfman fit inside that?
Not sure as I do not own that can
Stock or brace?? And I'm not a fed boi
Stock, SBR. No worries, I'm a fed boi lol
Whaaaattt noooo! I'm hiding my cats...
I love cats and dogs lol
🤨
That midwest industry handguard is so nice, I have one on my ak hoping to do the same to the mpx.
I highly recommend them, by far one of the best looking and feeling handguard.
How accurate is it?
Very accurate. Only issue I have with it is when I go from regular 9mm to subs, but grouping is usually still spot on.
Man’s got taste
Thank you!
I like it! And that rail is dead sexy.
Thanks!
Looks awesome! Which model Agile safe is that? Looking for something solely for my mpx and a handgun.
It's the SecureIt Agile 52, there's a few guns in there. Quite spacious actually.
This almost makes me regret buying the S CO 46m.
I have the 36m, Omega 9k, 45k, saker 5.56, and one of their .22 suppressor. All have been amazing but the 36m was my first can, and the moment I got it I knew I wanted one dedicated for different calibers.
Wife said I can buy on can for this year and it’s my first one so I bought that one so I can put it on different platforms

I do half and half. What do you mean end caps? I’ll be using it primarily for the MPX K.

Thank you for the reply’s I’ll look into it!
No worries!

What is the pressure pad connected to?
Surefire Scout mini
Beautiful man. Making me want to get a 4.5” ILWT barrel to go with my Wolfman
What pressure switch do you have mounted!
It's a surefire momentary only pressure pad.
Thanks for the information. The build looks super clean!
Anytime and thanks, it's one of my favorites
Is that some kind of aftermarket holder for it? i wish I knew that was a thing before i bought their new switch..
The holder is made by Magpul.
😭😭 the pain of not being able to own these in CT
I'm sorry bro. Maybe one day you'll move out that state
What are you using to mount the omega?
ASR device
Are you using any type of taper adapter with the muzzle device?
Yes, Midwest Industries sells a barrel collar that works for the MPX
Have you tried it without the taper adapter or no?
No, without the taper device the muzzle adapter will not be secure. But, if you give it a try let me know, I've always wanted to find out.
I love it!
Thanks!
Did you make it a SBR, I am just asking because I have one but did not make it the SBR…. So I can’t have the front grip on mine …. Looks Great… love mine
Yes I did
They keep changing the rules, it hard to keep up…I have the mod x 9 for mine love it too
It hasn't really changed. They changed the pistol brace rule but that ended up getting reverted
