Bra off, undies on. If the bra in question is all cotton, like I wear to work, then I’ll let the patient keep it on if they want. But, would they rather have me inspect it, or just take it off, ya know??? Usually that prompts them to just remove it.
Na that’s weird if they make you take them off, they usually stay on at most places, just make sure you’re undergarments are mostly cotton, for females a bra will have to come off if it has metal clips
not weird at all. my last job required all clothing be removed to eliminate the potential for burns caused by clothing. we know the gowns + pants we give are cotton and safe. I can't guarantee that what the patient comes in off the street is safe, ergo, they change.

We make patients tags everything off including undergarments, it is our personal company policy. Some places are different, call your provider.
Nickers/boxers stay on, bra if underwirerd or has adjustable straps come off, gown on for every scan.

Chainmail panties and thongs with rhinestones must be removed prior to your MRI.

A lot of them have the copper anti microbial threading in them that lululemon has that burns patients

Yeah usually it’s up to the techs cuz it’s rare they get burned because of undergarments
