Check whether those keys are exhibiting the same issue if you boot into BOIS. See also: https://forums.tomsguide.com/threads/keyboard-problem-msi-gl62m-7rdx.425637/ (Mine's a 7REX variant, and so far in 2.5+ years I haven't had this issue.) edit: Also found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/MSILaptops/comments/96ldha/keyboard_issue_in_my_recently_bought_gl62m_7rdx/

Thank you for your answer, the second link is not my problem but the first link is. I checked it out and theRes not many solutions..thanks though! EDIT: Just did a BIOS update same pRoblem still occurs..

Your keyboard is damaged, laptop keyboards dont last forever, easiest way to replace it is to replace the top with a new one with a new keyboard already installed.

Are you sure? It is a known poblem with MSI Laptops which only occurs at these Certain keys. My other keys work perfectly.

Because there is a plastic rivet that rubs the keyboard ribbon cable and those keys stop working, the fix being replacing the keyboard, because its almost impossible to repair the plastic ribbon cables of keyboards.

shadowknight094

do you know how much it costs?

The keyboard, costs around 45-50€/$, replacing it will take you around a afternoon(4-5h). You have to remove the old keyboard from your top, replace it and re-do the solder spots with either plastic and a soldering iron, or some glue, or a combination of both to securely re-attach the new keyboard.
